Are you old enough to remember the ‘Spice Up Your Life’ chorus song lyrics? If you do, this song was literally years ahead of any random controlled, doubled blinded scientific study. Spices have been used (and are still being used) in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries as anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal agents. Science now is coming around and realizing the health benefits of this ancestral practice.
