Hive Digital Technologies CEO Aydin Kilic joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce the company’s unaudited August production results. Hive successfully mined 112 Bitcoin, increasing its total Bitcoin holdings by 1%, bringing the total balance to 2,567 BTC. In addition, the company acquired 1,000 Bitmain S21 Pro Antminers, aiming to enhance its mining capacity and efficiency. Kilic noted that Hive maintained an average mining capacity of over 5.0 Exahash per second during the month. Hive continues to prioritize green energy, primarily utilizing hydroelectricity to power its data centers. The company plans to further optimize its operations over the next nine months by upgrading the remaining 30 J/TH ASICs, which is expected to boost its installed hashrate at existing facilities to 6.9 EH/s with a fleet efficiency of 19 TH/s.
