The Church of Jesus Christ is called to be the conscience of the State. When the Church fails to speak for those who have no voice, we shirk our God-given responsibility, and everyone suffers from our silence. How can we speak prophetically to the most critical issues of our day - issues like the sanctity of life, marriage, sexuality, transgenderism - and avoid being "political?" Have we forgotten that government was established by God and exists for His glory? Have we forgotten that government officials are God's "ministers for good" and that they are accountable to Him? (Romans 13) Today's podcast is dedicated to the liberation of the Church from her bondage to fear and apathy to become the of voice of truth and righteousness she has been called to be.
