You ask Janine Kelbach of WriteRN why she started her business and she’ll tell you what she was doing at that time was not fitting the life she wanted. Spending years working for someone else, on the schedule they dictated, as a Labor & Delivery nurse was not fitting what Janine wanted for herself. So, she did something about it.

Janine had a pivot point in her life, COVID. The pandemic changed a lot for so many people. Janine saw it as the pivot point she needed to change her existence. She was able to take a side hustle as a content writer for healthcare clients and go full in with a business idea that would fit the life she wanted. Through her company Janine saw an opportunity to help others make money and solve a glaring problem in the market. WriteRN is a collection of talented nurses and subject matter experts that provide valuable content material for healthcare products manufacturers, nursing associations & accrediting bodies, and patients. The team of over 150 nurses makes sense of the complex medical world and brings simple jargon and relatable content to the client and their users. Quite simply WriteRN = Talent + Subject Expertise. Janine is a humble leader. She is fully aware of what she is good at and what she needs others to do. Over the years as a business owner Janine as learned what to let go of and delegate to other, more talented people on her team. That is one of her superpowers, she knows how to position her skills when needed and where to lift others to shine. Janine is a constant learner. As someone who helps create content for others it is imperative that she be on the top of her game as a nurse and subject matter expert. She also spends time getting to know new things on how to run a better business. She is a firm believer in systems and process. As she says, if it has to be done more than twice, she will create a system and process to leverage it for ease of use and efficient use of time.
