Jay and Michelle had the pleasure of helping a family who live on the other side of the globe sell their Agoura Hills home. Jay and Michelle arrived at the home to perform their diagnosis, as their Documented Approach requires. After a short period of time, they decided to throw the play book out, and dig deep into their Approach for the perfect strategy. To get the home sold for a much money as possible in the shortest period of time .

So, they used there expertise and decided to plan the marketing in stages to build the momentum and interest the house deserved. The home had some visual damage so they didn’t want to put the Seller in a situation of a full remodel. This house is an investors dream.

The client was hesitant with this decision. They continued to look at surrounding homes on Zillow, comparing their home to others that have sold for much more. Homes that were completely remodeled. This home was the before to those homes after.

The client began to trust Zillow more than their experts. They questioned every step of what Jay and Michelle had planned for this home. Challenge after challenge.

However, they did finally begin to soften up to their approach over time.

Jay and Michelle tell us why challenging any professional expert is actually a great thing to do. The expert traits will come out very quickly. You will either have people that will do anything you say even though they know its not morally correct or you will have the strong willed expert that only has your best interest as their focus and will challenge you back. So you bet Jay and Michelle politely told them this is the best option.

Low and behold, they had over asking offers flood in.

Trust your hired expert, but do challenge them from time to time. Isn’t that why you hired them in the first place?
