David Bellavia is an author, radio host, public speaker, and US Army veteran, known famously as the first and only living Medal of Honor recipient from Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In the second hour, David recounts his years after retiring from the Army, his then-political ambitions for his home in Western New York, and the unexpected event when - 15 years after the fact - he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

David's new book Remember the Ramrods is a page-turning read about Bellavia's Army unit, an infantry battalion known as the Ramrods—2nd Battalion 2nd infantry regiment, 1st Infantry Division.
