Micky Tripathi, PhD, MPP, is the Assistant Secretary for Technology Policy and National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Tripathi discusses the Office of the National Coordinator’s two-decade journey in transforming health care through electronic health records (EHRs), interoperability, and secure data exchange.
