Through to Matt's personal journey of him leaving corporate consulting 4 years ago... a tragedy that took place on one of his many trips to Mt Everest Base Camp...And Matt visiting the grave of his Grandfather who took his own life... and the opportunity he now has to change this for young men.
Quick info on The Man Cave... The Man Cave started in 2014 creating spaces for young men to take off the mask, feel safe for the first time, to talk openly about what's really going on in their lives with each other.
And to do that with healthy male role models, that can hold that space for them and can take them through Rites of Passage... to grow and learn and start to explore the questions and topics they always wished they could...but haven't been the given the space, permission or tools to do it with.
The Man Cave has worked with almost 40,000 young men across Australia. With incredible facilitators supporting boys from Year 7 to Year 10 in high schools for a full day.
