Ladies, are you wondering what is happening to your body? Are you noticing more changes and possibly more cellulite than you ever expected? Have you started seeing and feeling the physical, mental and emotional changes of your body aging? Some women are okay with hearing that it’s just part of life, yet for others, they want answers…not just the quick fix either, getting to the root issues, and Michelle and Kristie shine light on how to start getting these answers.

Fitness and nutrition experts Kristie Winter and Michelle Hutton (Owners of TwinFitness) are not only personal trainers, small group instructors, and nutritionists, but they are also former Fitness Bikini Pros! They understand the struggles you face trying to balance work, family, and self-care, as busy mothers themselves! The systems, willpower, and knowledge of the human body that led them to victory on the stage makes it possible for them to face every day with a smile, no matter how hectic their schedules get!

The twins share the two types of body shapes and the changes that occur due to specific hormonal bodies.

Estrogen dominant: carrying extra weight in hips and thighs, lower body. How can you improve your body's response to this?

  1. Nutrition (90% of the equation)
  2. High intensity cardio, plyometrics, jump squats, jump rope
  3. You should not spend more than 30 minutes. As we age, the stress hormone does increase as well and it could backfire on you storing body fat.
  4. Patience

Insulin resistant: carrying extra weight in stomach, mid section. How can you improve your body's response to this?

  1. If you change your diet, and focus on nutrition, you will see the results in your mid section. Getting good fats and lower carbs. Helpful tip & place to start: Count carbs and stay under 100g per day.
  2. Exercise: Slower pace, walk, resistance training.
  3. Cut back on sugars!
