There is so much conflicting information about healthy food and diets, who knows what to eat. Did you know there are things you can do to make any food you eat healthier for you? I’ll share ways to make your food healthier for you to eat from an energy healing viewpoint. You won’t want to miss it if you like to cook. Episode Notes: Hello and welcome to Episode #7 where we will be talking all about food. First though, I want to pose this question - Is there a way with energy healing to make the foods you eat healthier, no matter what you are eating. There is so much conflicting information about healthy food and diets, who knows what to eat anymore. But did you know there are things you can do to make any food you eat healthier for you? I’ll share ways to do this with your energy. You won’t want to miss it if you like to cook. But first, I want to tell you a cute story of what I did a few weeks ago that I loved. Who out there has stink bugs around their house. We had massive amounts of them all over our house. Even in the winter, a few would show up each day in the house, and I had to get rid of them. We figured we would get an exterminator to get rid of them once they really started showing up when it got warm. Last summer, they were all over the outside of our house so I didn’t want this to happen again this year. So you know what I did. A few weeks ago, when the weather started changing, I started to see more of them around the house. And I was thinking to myself, what if I did a little healing on the house to get rid of those nasty bugs. Why not. It couldn’t hurt. And that is the beauty of energy healing. It only takes a short amount of time, I didn’t have to buy anything or go anywhere So I did a healing. Took literally five minutes. And you know what. We have no stink bugs around our house anymore. Maybe it was the healing, maybe not. I tend to think it was. But it sure didn’t hurt anything, and might of helped. Oh, and after the stink bugs came, we started to get ants. Those little critters must have scared away by the stink bugs. But after I saw a few of them crawling around, I did another healing on the house for the ants. Voila, they were gone. That’s pretty cool. Maybe in one of my next podcasts I will devote a whole segment on ways to get rid of pests with energy healing. I can’t get enough of this stuff. I love it. But now, onto food. I want to change your relationship with food. If you do this, there is a healing affect. Change the way you look at food. In America, the media has ruined it for us when it comes to eating. Eat this, don’t eat that, do this, don’t do that. Combine your foods this way, don’t eat foods that way.) Americans are so obsessed with food and diets.) And the funny thing is, we aren’t any healthier than any other countries. In fact, more than a 1/3 of our population in the US are obese. Wow, that is terrible, and bad news for the children growing up. I don’t know about you, but it is confusing out there with talk about food. It’s information overload about what to eat, is it healthy for you, should you eat protein, fats, carbs, eat less, eat more, eat raw, so many options. From day to day I get conflicting information. Someone says eating all protein and meat is healthy for you, then someone else says go vegan. Who can keep up!! Now, I’m not advocating that you don’t watch your diet. I think it is essential to living healthy. But I am not an expert nutritionist, so talking about foods is not my thing. I would say to customize your diet to fit your needs. Some people respond positively to high protein diet, that's great. Eat that. Someone else responds better to a vegan diet, that’s great. Eat that way. Inherently, I think you know what to eat that makes you feel good or healthy. Keep eating that way. Your body will tell you if what you are eating is good for you or not. Do you feel logy after eating one type of meal? Do you feel hungry shortly after eating a meal? Do you have a lot of energy after eating this meal.? That would be good; you want this. Did you wake up feeling hungry or tired after a meal like the one you ate last night? Did you have aches or pains, or heartburn after a meal, or bloating? These are the types of questions to ask yourself after eating a meal to determine which foods to eat. Of course, in episode #2, I showed you a technique that can tap into your subconscious mind to ask questions about yourself. And what to eat is a great way to use this technique. You would be able to test for yourself which foods to eat. But I want to get beyond the diet, and being a student of energy medicine and energy healing, I look at things differently than a lot of other people. And really, this podcast isn’t about what you should eat or shouldn’t. I’ll leave that to nutritional experts. I look at diet and eating from an energy standpoint and ask myself, is there anything I can do to my food to energize it for healing. Remember, you don’t have to be sick to need healing. If you pay attention and keep healing each day, you hopefully won’t ever get sick or at least not as much or as sever So is there something you can do to make your food more healthy? The answer I found is definitely yes! There are. Here’s a little story. This is a true story. There was a shaman who was with a friend, and they were really hungry. The man didn’t want to take his shaman friend to a burger joint, because he thought the shaman would think less of him eating a such an unhealthy place. But it was the only thing open and around at the time, so he said, Do you want a burger, thinking of all this heart attack food. The shaman said yes, it sounds good to him. So they go in, and the man said, "I’m surprise you eat this stuff. It’s not good for you. Aren’t you worried about the cheese and meat and bread?" The shaman said, not at all. He loves hot dogs and eats a chili dog every morning for breakfast. He said, it’s not the food that is dangerous, It’s what you think about the food that makes it vulnerable. He went on to explain that before he eats anything, he says I love you, I love you to his food. If there is anything I am bringing into this situation that would cause this food to be unhealthy, It’s not the food; it’s not even myself. It's something in my mind that is triggering this thought. And I let it go. Then he goes on to enjoy his food because now it is clean. When I read that many years ago, it really stuck with me. It changed the way I look at food. So then I started looking if there were other ways to make your food more healthy with energy. And I was amazed that there are things you can do with energy, which means you use your mind and life force to make your food better to eat. Granted, I’m not saying go and eat so unhealthy because you can change things with your mind. This guy was a shaman; he was experienced in mind control and energy healing. Wow, that would be great if our thoughts were that powerful too. But you know, they are. Unfortunately, here is the key. If you have a history of thinking things are one way, like hot dogs are bad for your health because you’ve been told that since you were young, it will be unhealthy for you. And it’s not that easy undoing those beliefs. Those beliefs can be cemented into your subconscious mind. So you need to clean out that subconscious mind in its perception of food to change your relationship with your meals. And how do you clean out the subconscious mind, with repetition. The more you begin to change your thoughts about your food to a more positive image of it, the more you will squeeze out the bad images of your food in your subconscious mind. Eventually, your subconscious mind will be filled with healthy images of your food. And that brings me to my first point. Perception is reality. Your perception of food is so important, and the thoughts you project onto your food has a dramatic impact on the foods you eat. Your thoughts are powerful. Here is what I mean. When I eat a meal, I am not thinking about how terrible it is for me to the food. That would just project negative frequencies on to the food. From the moment you were born, your beliefs set the stage for the life ahead of you. Your beliefs get set from the things you hear around as you grow up. You were guided and instructed as to what to eat and this set the stage for your beliefs about food. I know its not fair that your past defines the healthiness of your food, but you can start to change that. You do this incrementally, with baby steps at first. So in a small way, you can treat every meal as if it is a gift. Don’t keep thinking how unhealthy your food is. Think of the benefits of eating the food, the nourishing aspect of the food. Set intentions on your food to give you all the nourishment you need at that moment. Project good thoughts onto your food. Be thankful for your food. You know. In a symbolic and metaphoric sense, food is a gift from the heavens. Food is delicious. It’s pleasurable. Food can make us feel good. Eating nourishing food, making nourishing food, feeding others, celebrating with others, if that’s not love – then what is? Think of when a child is born, “love” to them is being held, the touch of their mother, the soothing voice of their mother, and the sucking of milk from their mother. Even if you fed from a bottle, you were still in your mother’s arms feeling all that love. Babies can’t think sophisticated enough to distinguish the difference in all those elements. It becomes one intertwined loving experience. So to them, food is love. Fast forward many years, and a young child may also associate food with love. Very often, they’re rewarded for good deeds with food, or their grandma makes something special for them, like cookies, because they want to show love. In an article by psychologist Marc David, he states, "Food is so intertwined with love, the reality is, Food is Love and love is food. Think of it as love from the planet to you. Think of it as a gift from the trees and the plants and the soil and the flowers and the bees and all the creatures that become food for humans. And if you want to get just a little spiritual, think of food as a gift from a higher power. In so many religious traditions and cultures around the world, a thankful prayer for the food was important at every meal." When we lose this deep understanding that food is love, then it becomes just food to manufacture that has no love in it. Junk food, food that is engineered to get you addicted to it, food that is filled with toxic chemicals. Or animals that are treated terribly. That is unhealthy food. If we honor our food and how it is manufactured or grown, then it becomes so much healthier than just eating anything. For instance, when animals are treated so poorly, caged up like baby calves are, chickens that are so squished in a pen, or cattle that are treated so poorly, those are stressed animals. Think of the cortisol that is produced when someone is stressed. If you were to eat food from a majorly stressed animal, it will be laced with cortisol and other harmful hormones that could affect your health. But trying to eat grass-fed beef, uncaged chicken, food that is from animals that are honored and treated well will be so much better for our health. I think it makes a difference. When we honor Mother Earth and the food she produces, we become better people and healthier in turn. No question about it. Which brings me to my next point. It is not just about buying food produced in a way that honors our planet or about being thankful for our food, it also is about preparing it in a way that is healthier for us. And I don’t mean whether you fry your food or bake it. I am talking about your attitude when you are preparing your food. I’m a mother of four kids . I know what a drag it can be to prepare food for a family day in and day out. It can be tedious trying to think of what to eat each night for dinner. I always laugh when I ask my family, what else can we do with chicken? Right? But when I learned about the energy of food, I realized I was making the food more unhealthy if my thoughts were always how drudgery it was preparing it. So to change my thoughts, I do different things while I make dinner. I will play soothing music when I make dinner. I might have a glass of wine when I make dinner to help me get more creative with the meal. I might stream an interesting video when I make the meal to put me in a better mood so I am not projecting bad thoughts on my food. I think this makes a huge difference. And you know what is funny. I swear to God that my husband always says, Boy your eggs taste so much better than mine. I just crack open a few eggs and scramble them. That’s it. I do nothing else. So you have to think it makes a difference the mental state you are in when you make your food. There is no other way to explain those tasty eggs. Another way to make your food more healthy is to set intentions for your food. It’s not just about the thoughts you keep away from your food, like how unhealthy it may be, but set an intention. Before you place the food in your mouth, say to yourself, “I place the intention that this food will nourish me, give me strength, give me energy, and keep me healthy. Thank you for this nourishing food.” Then eat it. If you are spiritual, say a prayer of gratitude for your food. Don’t believe me that prayer can change your food. Have you ever heard of Masaru Emoto? He is a famous researcher and photographer who photographed water as it was freezing. What the photos showed were water crystals. And the most amazing thing is that if you said positive words, words of love, joy, gratitude, the water crystals looked beautiful. If you said words of hate, Hitler, Satan, ugly, then the water looked awful. A prayer over water made it look beautiful. So your words spoken or your thoughts, which are just silent words, actually changes the structure of the molecules in water and in our food. If you don’t believe me, look him up. I will post a few pictures of these crystals from him that show water with different phrases said to it. I even did my own experiment a few years ago. It was called the rice experiment. I won’t go into it here, because this podcast is getting pretty long. But you can go to my website and watch the video about the experiment. It was amazing how the rice looked different depending on if I said I love you to the rice or I said I hate you to the rice. It's really is hard to believe, if I didn’t do the experiment myself. But it was right before my eyes. Amazing. So saying a prayer over your food, expressing love for your food with your thoughts and words changes the structural makeup of your food. I even saw somewhere that by saying a prayer over your food will make it more alkaline. I can’t remember where I saw it, and if I find it again, I will post the link on this podcast page on my website. Maybe I will even try this experiment. It would be easy to do. If I do, I’ll post that too. But I can see it now, the website snopes will probably debunk this because there isn’t a scientific study that “proves” this. But I don’t know. It is so easy to do, why not try it. Why wait for 20 years to go by and they find this to be true. Then you’ve wasted all those years with food that could have been healthier for you. I wouldn’t wait. It’s not like this takes much effort. Anything that honors our planet and Mother Earth has got to be healthier for you. A simple 10 seconds before each meal to say something sweet about your food. That’s it. And that food will become more healthy for you. Another energetic way to make food healthier for you is to eat food that is alive. Have you ever thought about your food being dead or alive. Okay, here’s a quick science lesson, so bear with me for a moment. All energy on our planet comes from the sun. When the sun emits it’s rays, that is powerful energy, potential energy. Then a plant uses sunlight in photosynthesis to convert the sun’s energy to potential energy that gets stored within the plant. The energy stored in a plant as potential energy then gets eaten by an animal, or human, and becomes energy for that being. In this way, energy from the sun gets used and reused in many different forms on earth. So eating raw foods is good. Think about when you cook something. You are heating it up to a high degree which would kill anything. But if you eat something before it is cooked, it still maintains the energy from the sun that would make its way into you. I don’t advocate an all raw diet. I love food, and the experience of eating a nice steak dinner is great for me. But I do try to eat something raw at every meal. I try to make 1/3 of my plate fresh, which is usually a salad at each meal. That’s all. I’m not making it too hard on you. Raw food diets are hard. People that can maintain a raw food diet are disciplined. Nothing wrong with that if it works for you. But I think you can add a little raw to each meal to give you that extra energy boost. And that’s how to make your food healthier for you when you eat it. If you think about it, love is the ultimate healing emotion. So love would never guide us to produce toxic foods to sell at a massive profit that destroys our children, our environment, and our future. And when we truly love food, it will magically love us back. From there, so much healing is possible. And there you have it. I’ve given you a few ways to make your food healthier. Hopefully, I’ve helped you change your relationship with food. I’ve opened you up to a new way of looking at your food and a new way of preparing it. So you don’t have to worry about your food or find it boring to make it, but love the experience of eating and love everything about food. So as a recap, there are three things we talked about today are: Maintain a positive image of food before you eat it and not think about the unhealthiness of you food. You need to change your beliefs about food. Give intentions before you eat your food. Say the intentions, or at the very least, think them. You may even say a prayer of thanksgiving over your food before you eat it. It does change the structure of the food molecules just like the water crystals we spoke of from Masaru Emoto. Eat raw foods as much as possible. I’m not saying you have to stay away from that juicy steak, or mashed potatoes. I’m just saying to replace about 1/3 of your plate with something raw. Let the energy from the sun be absorbed by you through your food. Every little bit counts! And there you have it, ways to make your food healthier with energy. In my next podcast, we are going to start getting into a very important aspect of energy healing. The power of your emotions. I can’t wait to start talking about emotions, because it’s not something you hear many people in mainstream medicine talking about except to medicate you if you feel depressed or are stressed. But this is a very interesting issue, so we’ll start right from the beginning and talk about how emotions effect our health and any healing we do. Most people don't think about their healing process much. But if you want to heal, there are certain things to consider that will help bring it on. In this podcast, I delve into that process and what exactly it looks like from a practical standpoint. Episode Notes: As a healer for more than 15 years, I have to admit, this is a frustrating subject for me! People say they want to be healed, but they don’t even know what it looks like anymore. We have become so disconnected from ourselves, just following a life of distractions. Like mind-numbed robots living day by day distracted by technology, work, family, anything. People will say they want to be healed, but they think if they took ibuprofen for their headache, they’re healed. But that’s not true healing. In my quest to get myself and my daughter healthy many years ago, I learned from many intelligent people that our bodies have all it needs to heal from anything. People need to learn how to do it. You are a masterfully created being. You have everything you need within you for healing. You need to figure out how to tap into that inner healing power you possess to get the job done. And that is why I started this podcast. To get the word out that you can do it, you can heal. So I started with the previous episodes to help you begin to get in touch with your intuitive self and become aware of the energy inside you. We’ll get more into that later on; I’ll share with you some really cool things you can do. And I am going to be sharing with you in later podcasts things you can do all by yourself to help your healing along. But first, I want to let you know what true healing is. Because, as I said, I get frustrated. People have no patience for healing. So before we get to all the neat stuff, I want to give you my five pillars of healing. It’s like setting the stage or laying the groundwork for healing. And the reason why I think it is necessary to do this is because energy healing is a bit different than what people are typically used to seeing. And unless you understand these pillars of healing, you may not appreciate the power energy healing has. So let’s begin with my first pillar of healing. #1 - The first pillar is “Healing takes PATIENCE.” I say this because everyone wants their healing done yesterday. I once had a woman who I was working with take a remedy from me and said, I can’t wait, I’m going to take the medication the doctor gave me. This is taking too long. She told me this like three days after I gave her the remedy. And I’m thinking, really? Wow, you couldn’t wait a few more days. Are you so ready to take those medications which can leave you with all kinds of side effects? I remember thinking, no worries, it’s your life. I know I would want to heal, not be perpetually on meds all the time. But that’s why they make vanilla and chocolate. To each his own. I wish people would want to truly heal, even if it takes a few weeks, a few months, or even a few years. Wouldn’t getting healed be better. I love the word remission. Doctors say that a lot. You are in remission because they know they didn’t heal you of anything, they just suppressed it until it surfaces again. So now you have to live life watching for this disease to rear it’s ugly head again. I wouldn’t want to constantly be watching over my shoulder for a disease. Everyone wants to be healed asap! When they get a headache, they take ibuprofen; when they get a rash, they take a steroid cream, constipated, they use a suppository. You get constipated and take a suppository, then you go. You're healed, right? I mean, come on. Really! Do you think that is healing? You may look like your healed because you went to the bathroom, your rash is gone, and your headache may be gone, but are you. Let’s take steroids. You got the rash and put the steroid on, and the rash is gone. But according to the NIH, which is the government website, the steroid suppresses the inflammatory genes that are activated by the disease. In other words, the steroids suppress any inflammation that is going on. There is no healing taking place. Whatever caused the inflammation is still there. That’s like saying, if there is a fire in your house, you can put it out by taking the battery out of your fire alarm. But not only that, you now have to ask yourself, if whatever was causing that rash in the first place is just being suppressed, where did it go. Think of it this way: Let’s say you have two people outside at night enjoying themselves. Then the mosquitoes come and really start to bother them. The one person puts repellant on, and the mosquitoes quit bothering her. But did the mosquitoes go away? No, they will move to the next person and annoy them. So now that person has double the nuisance from the mosquitoes. That is what it is like with the steroids and most medications. There is no healing, it suppresses the inflammation, or suppresses the pain. It is really symptom based. So you might be asking, what’s wrong with that. At least I don’t feel bad. But there is a problem with that strategy. When you get a rash, let’s say, then you can heal it right at its roots. If you suppress it, then whatever is causing the outbreak goes underground and can travel somewhere else in your body where it can wreak havoc there and continue to grow without you even knowing it. Let’s take dandruff for instance. Something that may be a nuisance, but it is not serious. Right? Dandruff is usually caused by a fungus called Malassezia that lives on the scalp. This fungus feeds on the oils of the scalp and can dry it out if there is an overgrowth. But if you use shampoos and dandruff treatments that suppress the symptoms on the scalp, the reason why that fungus got out of control is still there. And that reason could produce other problems inside your body if left untreated. Would you want that fungal infection to go to your liver or kidneys? Or whatever the reason that fungus got out of control, let’s say you are eating too many omega-6 fats, instead of the healthy fats, which is usually the reason for dandruff, then it will be problematic in another part of the body too. A different type of fungus might flourish and expand rapidly in another part of your body if you continue to keep eating so many omega-6s. At least on your scalp, you can see it and work to get rid of it. If it goes to an internal organ, you won’t know it is there until one day you come down with a more serious condition or disease and wonder where it came from out of nowhere. But it didn’t; it came from the fungal overgrowth that may have started from your scalp. See what I’m saying. Let’s take ibuprofen or Advil. It works by decreasing the number and types of prostaglandins, which are just substances in your body that get produced when there is a need for inflammation. So if you sprained your ankle and your body needed to protect that area, it releases prostaglandins to signal your body to increase the inflammation. The ibuprofen did nothing to the actual healing of the ankle. It just reduced the signaling mechanism of the body. That’s like saying, if you found a crack in the pipes in your house, it would get fixed quicker if you didn’t tell anyone. Kept it a secret from the plumbers who could come and get the job done. That’s sounds crazy doesn’t it when you put it in those terms? You know, I joke about people like that woman, but really I am frustrated. Here’s another example, If I tell someone that their body is calling for a supplement to help their situation or a diet change, they do whatever for a week and say, “That didn’t work.” Now what. Are you kidding me? If you are deficient in a nutrient, just supplementing for a week isn’t going to do much. If you have a leak in the oil tank of your car, would putting some oil in each day for a week solve the problem. No. Until the leaky tank got fixed, you need to keep supplementing it with oil. Our bodies’ are masterfully created machines! They know how to heal. It just takes time. You might have to supplement for a while, or maybe you need to make lifestyle changes, or detox for a while. But the reason it takes time to heal is because when you give your body what it needs, now it needs time to get the job done. If you were deficient in vitamin D let’s say, well taking the vitamin D didn’t solve the problem per se, the vitamin D allowed your body to do its job properly which includes healing. I can’t tell you how many times I hear someone say they started to eat good but didn’t see a change in their condition. They claim the diet didn’t make a difference. But think about inside your body. Just because you quit feeding it garbage doesn’t mean your body is in tip-top shape automatically. It probably took years to get to this condition. It’s going to take a while to set your body straight and heal whatever is wrong inside. Your body only has so many resources within it to tap into for healing. If you are eating a complicated meal like lasagne, or a huge burger with greasy fries, it may have very little energy left over to do any healing. But if you give your body what it needs, it will do the healing; it just might not be immediate. If someone gave you supplies to clean your house, that doesn’t mean you cleaned your house. You still have to take those supplies and do the cleaning. It is the same way with healing. Another problem with patience is that sometimes when people start healing, they get worse before they get better. This is called a healing effect, or herxheimer effect. When you heal, you sometimes see the symptoms of what you are trying to heal worsen for for a day or two. This is why you get it. Most health problems stem from a parasite like bacteria, virus, fungus, or something like that. If you want to solve the problem, you need to kill off the parasite. Right? So did you know that when something dies, it releases toxins? This process may sound morbid, but when a human being dies, you’ll see them release their last breath, and it is a long sigh type breath. Their bodily fluids get released too. Well, this also happens with microbes. They release toxins when they die off too. And your body doesn’t like it much. So you react to these toxins and, the problem gets worse for a short time. Eventually, it really shouldn’t take long, your body will have a chance to catch up, and clean up after the release of the toxins. And the symptoms will go away. Here’s an example. Many years ago a woman came to me with these red spots all over her. So I evaluated her and told her it was a bacterial infection. I gave her a remedy and sent her on her way. I didn’t see her for a long time and finally bumped into her. I asked her, "what ever happened to the red spots?" She said, "Oh my goodness, the spots got redder, so I ran to the doctor and took the steroid cream. Now they are gone." I just rolled my eyes and thought to myself, I wonder where all that bacteria went. I’m sure it is still in her body somewhere waiting to rear it’s ugly head again. I should have warned her this could happen. It is especially a problem with skin conditions because who wants the rashes to get worse. But it just takes a little patience. Those red spots probably would have only gotten worse for a day or two, then they would have been gone for good. It’s called patience my friends! #2 - The second pillar of healing is there are layers of disease that need to be stripped away for true healing. As you live life, you keep adding layers of health conditions to yourself that need to be stripped away for your body to heal. If you lived a really unhealthy life, the layers would pile up pretty quickly. Lead a healthy life, not so much. Think of yourself like a barrel. As you live life, you keep filling that barrel with layers of disease-causing things, bad stuff like eating junk food, being exposed to pesticides, having a stressful day. These are all layers that get piled into your barrel. If that barrel gets filled too much from all the layers you put in it through the years, eventually it will overflow, and that is when a symptom strikes or a disease pops up. It may have looked like the disease came out of nowhere, but it was in the making long before that. So by stripping away the layers of disease, you will offload your body more and more and eventually, your body has time to catch up and do some healing. The other reason why layers are so important is because healing is an orderly process. You may be having headaches, but healing may really need to be done in your liver first. If your brain, which is your control center, is overwhelmed with trying to heal the liver lets say, then it lets everything else go. So now your headache pops up. But before your brain deals with your headache, it has to finish the job with the liver. Does that make sense? I have evaluated people many times that come in because of one problem, and I tell them it is something else, and they think my results are wrong. Well, my results may not be wrong, there is just so much going on inside their body, how would they know what everything is going on. It is like a domino effect, when one thing heals, it then can be used to heal the next thing. Another reason why this is important is because if you do something to heal, like change your diet, you may not feel any different for a while, but inside your body there may be all kinds of healing going on. It’s about the layers, and stripping away the layers of disease. Like I said, our bodies are masterfully created machines, they’ll do the work. #3 - My third pillar of healing is that everything you need for healing is already within you. I recently heard a podcast where a gentleman said, technology has quickly advanced in the last century, but it will really speed up now because all we ever need technology wise is right within us.) That is pretty cool. We are learning that our minds are so much more powerful than we give them credit for being. You just have to stay in touch with your yourself. Get to really know your body and listen to it. It also means you need to quiet yourself long enough to be able to get to know you. You can’t develop a relationship with someone if you are so distracted by your phone or the TV. It is the same with yourself. Take time to be mindful or meditate. You will be amazed at the information you will get if you just try to ask yourself. I know I am continually fascinated by the information I get. Your body will talk to you. It will tell you when something isn’t right. It will give you warnings that there may be trouble down the road if you don’t make changes. If you listen close enough, you’ll be able to make changes and adjustments before anything serious comes along. This is the whole concept behind everyday healing and why I use it as my tag-line for my website. If you listen to your body and what it is trying to tell you, then you can heal from the little stuff before it gets serious. In this way, you hopefully never really get a serious diagnosis and live to a ripe old age and die of natural causes. I know I try to listen to my body all the time. Is my stomach gurgling more than usual, or am I feeling bloated? Am I getting headaches a lot? Is there a pain in my knee? These all signal that something isn’t right. Did you know there is a relationship between structures in your body and different organs? Your knees are associated with your kidneys. Pain in your knees, and I don’t mean if you smashed it somehow, but a pain that pops out of nowhere in your knee may mean your kidneys are under stress. It might not be anything serious, but if your knees start to hurt, then maybe you need to change something in your life that is stressing out your kidneys. So if I get knee pain, at the first sign of it, which has happened to me before, I make sure I drink lots of water and be sure to eat really healthy to normalize my system and take the stress off my kidneys, which in turn takes the stress off my knees. I might even do kidney cleanse. There is an infinite amount of signals our bodies give us telling us there is something not quite right. And there is an infinite amount of solutions that you have at your disposal to rectify the problem. So there is no excuse if you don’t take steps to correct any imbalance in your body. I bet you are thinking, how am I supposed to know the relationships between different structures of my body and their organ association. I got you covered. I put a cheat sheet on my podcast page that lists the different parts of the body and their associations. You can look it up if you want. It’s pretty interesting. But even if you didn’t know that pain in the knees meant there might be something going on with your kidneys, if it were me, I would be sure to eat really clean and relax more. Maybe be sure to take my supplements diligently, and just try to live uber healthy for a while until the pain disappears. We all like to overindulge a bit at times. I get that. That’s part of living a robust life. But when we do tend to push the limit, our bodies will tell us, and that’s when we pull back and detox a little to get healthy again. So that is what I mean about listening to your body and make corrective changes to your lifestyle to fix the problem. That is True Healing. #4 - There are many roads to healing Another aspect of true healing that is important is that there are many roads to healing. I don’t like it when people think they have to do one thing to heal. Some alternative technique can’t possibly work because there is no clinical trial to back it up, or it isn’t sanctioned by the Medical Association. That’s baloney. That’s what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to believe so you don’t go looking for solutions. You have to rely on their expensive drugs that only mask the problem. I know of a doctor who was curing breast cancers with baking soda. That’s right, baking soda you have in your kitchen. There’s not a lot of money to be made selling baking soda as opposed to drugs. But it’s true. Do you know what happened to the doctor, he was stripped of his medical license and now practices outside this country. So now, US citizens can’t use this very effective technique, only foreigners. Crazy! That’s not to say some doctors can’t ever cure a disease. There are many roads to healing and when someone tells you their way is the only way, I stay clear of people like that. I like the philosophy that we all work together for the common good, in this case, healing. If someone wants to take the chemo route is they had cancer, then who am I to say they shouldn’t. I know that there is a lot someone can do if they take chemo drugs to lessen the side effects if they want to take that route. So instead of getting mad at someone because they didn’t choose the healing method I would have, I would help them do whatever it takes to heal. So healing can come from many different sources. #5 - Taking away any barrier to healing. There is so much at our disposal for healing. All kinds of products to use, supplements to take, practitioners and doctors to see. It is a great time to be sick! But you can do all you want to heal, and take all you want, but if you don’t remove any barriers to healing, most likely you’re not going to heal. Let me give you an example. I met this woman once when I was waiting in line after Christmas to return something at a BestBuy. You know how long the waits can be then. Bored as we were, I struck up a conversation with a woman in front of me and she asked what I did. So I told her I manufacture all natural health products. She asked, “Do you have anything for cancer?” I said, “Sorry, I don’t. Do you know someone with cancer?” She said yes, her husband has stage 4 colon cancer. Then she went on to say he will be okay because he is taking Turmeric, and she had heard that cures cancer. I said, “That’s good he is taking that. But is there anything else he is doing?” She said, “No. As a matter of fact, he works God awful hours because his patients need him, he eats terrible, has a huge gut, never takes a vacation and is always stressed.” I thought to myself, “Honey, that Turmeric ain’t going to do anything for your husband.” That guy has so many barriers to healing, he’ll never be able to knock them all down. To heal, it is just as important to examine your life and how you are living it, and remove any barriers you have to healing, then it is finding the magic pill or the magic person that can heal you. Barriers to healing are huge. I’m going to be getting into them more in later podcasts. But for now, know that healing will happen if you just get out of your own way to let the healing take place. What I mean by getting out the way is don’t bombard yourself with unhealthy things and expect healing to happen. Remove stress, eat well, hydrate. Because if you don’t, you might as well put up a brick wall to your own healing. So those are my five pillars of healing. As a recap: Pillar #1 - Be patient. True healing takes time. It’s not just a bandaid. Pillar #2 - Your health is in layers, if you’re able to strip away enough layers of unhealthy living, eventually you will heal. Pillar#3 - Everything you need to heal is right inside you. Connect with yourself to find answers for healing. And listen to your body to see what it is telling you. Pillar #4 - There are many roads to healing. Take the route that feels best for you. Pillar #5 - You must pay as much attention to your barriers to healing than working on finding that magic bullet that will wipe all your illness away. And there you have my five pillars of healing! If every living thing has life force energy flowing through it all the time, then how can you use that energy for healing. In this episode, I’ll show you the steps to harness the energy that flows through you and use it for healing. This is a basic technique used in energy medicine. You won’t want to miss it. Episode Notes: Today I’m going to share with you how to use your life force energy for healing. In my last podcast, I showed you how to feel the energy within you and become more aware of your energy. And I also shared with you how you use your mind to concentrate and focus your thoughts to direct your energy. Were you able to do the exercises? Were you able to feel anything? How about quieting your mind? Were you able to do that? At first, we held a finger up and put our focus on it and felt the essence of energy around the finger. It was subtle, but it was there. It is there for everyone, so if you tried that experiment and didn’t feel anything, then just keep trying. But remember, you must first quiet yourself without any distractions to work with your energy. If you’re still having trouble feeling your energy after many attempts and first quieting yourself, then email me and maybe I can help. Now I want to show you how to use that energy you just harnessed for healing. But first, I want to tell you about a clever way I used my intuition, remember we learned how to do it in podcast #2, Learning to tap into your subconscious mind. It is also called the Sway Test. But basically, you ask a yes or no questions while in a mindful moment and see if you sway forward or backward. I use this technique all the time. However, I do it a little different. There is an infinite amount of ways to do it. The sway test is just one way, and it is one of the easiest ways, so people often learn this technique first. If you haven’t learned how to do it, you can go back to episode #2 to learn how, because it is a real powerful technique. And here is how I used it outside of healing. You know, with energy healing, you learn to use your mind, your intuition because it is very powerful. They say, every answer to any question is already within you. You just have to learn how to get the information out. So I wanted to test this theory, and have a little fun doing it. I guess this is how I get my kicks each day! So one day I went to get a white shirt to wear, because I wear a lot of white, black, grey and brown. And I pulled out two white shirts but oh, no! They had stains on them. It was so frustrating because I tried many times to get those darn stains out, but no matter what I did, they were still there. I probably tried five separate times, but there was still a slight remnant of the stains right smack in the middle of the shirts. So I figured I would try one more time and use my intuition to guide me to a strategy that would work. If it didn’t work, then I would throw the shirts out. But I hated throwing them out because I am not a big shopper and didn’t’ want to have to go out and get new ones. So this exercise was well worth it. So I used my intuition technique to see if there was anything more I could do. Here’s how I did it. I asked if there was anything more I could do to get the stains out. I got the answer - YES! Okay, so I tested my intuition and said, would using bleach to get the stain out work? (I did this because I used bleach many times and the stain was still there. So if I was going to be told to use bleach, I would know this strategy wasn’t working.) See how I test my intuition at times! So I got NO, using bleach wouldn’t help. Okayyyyy, my trying to trick my intuition didn’t work, that’s good. So I asked if there was still another way to get the stains out. YES. Is it something in my laundry room? YES. Then I went thru the different detergents in the room and asked if the solution involved that product. I went to both the natural and synthetic products. When I got to the Oxyclean powder, I got a yes. So then I asked how to use it, just put it in the washing tub. NO. ( Which was good because I put Oxyclean in my wash many times and it didn’t seem to get the stain out.) So after many questions, I finally got that I should make a paste with the powder and put it on the stain directly, and let it sit on the stain for a few minutes, then put it in the wash. Voila, the stains were gone. To me, that is a great way to use your intuition to make your life better. I guess this is healing my laundry! But it goes to show how powerful these techniques I am showing you are. We’ll be getting in to many other ways to use energy healing techniques. But this one was interesting. So I thought I would share it. So now, on to using your energy for healing. In my last podcast, I showed you how to become aware of your energy by concentrating on your finger in front of you. If you haven’t mastered that yet, or haven’t been able to feel it, then keep trying. You’ll get it because we all have the energy. If you want, you can go to my website and download the cheat sheet from Episode #4 to help you. After the finger exercise, I had you put your awareness on different parts of your body and then focus your thoughts, which is also your energy, to your hands. What I had you doing with those exercises is begin to use your mind to direct your energy. Your mind is very powerful; it has healing capability that we are only now beginning to understand and just touching the surface. But at the most basic level, you can direct your energy within you and point it on something with laser beam focus and use it for healing. Here are the steps to harnessing your energy for healing. STEP I: Feel Your Energy 1. Decide what you want to energize for healing. Do you want to heal a sore knee that is painful, or maybe your eyes are feeling tired and need healing, you can even heal one of your houseplants that has seen better days? It doesn’t have to be a part of your body. It can be anything. 2. Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and eyes closed. 3. Ground Yourself. Remember always to ground yourself which includes quieting your mind and let all distractions drift away. Take 5 - 10 minutes and let your thoughts go, let them drift away. Try to think of nothing. Thump your chest three times and say “I love you.” (Called thumping your thymus) This is not absolutely necessary, but helpful. STEP II: Let Your Energy Flow Imagine a flow of energy from the ground moving through your feet and into your legs, up through your body. Visualize it. The more you can visualize it, the more energy you will produce. Then imagine the energy moving through your legs, up your body to the top of your head. At the top of your head, imagine it going back down through your arms and out your hands. STEP III: Amplify Your Energy Keep imagining this while taking deep breaths. The deeper the breaths, the stronger the energy will become. Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth. If you do this long enough, you might begin to feel a buzzing up your spine, or in your hands. It is a wild sensation if you amplify your energy plenty. STEP IV: Direct Your Energy Now put your hands on whatever object you want to heal, i.e., your knee. Keep it to something on your body at first so you can feel the energy. It makes it easier for you recognize the sensation and become aware of it if you can sense it. Then put your hands on either side of your knee and set them there, and relax them. It is important to stay relaxed, because your energy flows better when you are relaxed. If you tense up your hands, or your arms, the energy won’t flow as easily. So keep them relaxed. As you imagine the energy from the ground, going through your body to the top of your head, and then back down through your arms out your hands, imagine it going into your knee. And keep this up for a good 15 minutes or as long as you can. The longer you can do this and imagine the energy going through your body and out your hands, the more energy you will produce. With the more energy you produce, the more powerful the healing energy will become. Then, to take it to the next level, and make it more useful, set an intention to your energy. If you have a sore knee, place an intention to let the soreness drift dissipate. If you are working on your eyes, set an intention that your eyes will relax and not be so tired as you put your hands on them while breathing. Your options for healing intentions are endless. Use your imagination. Some people have even imagined they had a sponge cleaning out their knee to relieve the pain. Or they imagined white light filling their knee for healing. After you set the intention, then visualize it as much as possible. The important things to remember is to get the energy flowing first, then amplify it, then direct your energy to whatever you want to heal, and finally, set the intention for healing. Experiment and have fun with this. You are now an energy healer! Congratulations! Have you ever felt energy within you? You are a powerful being with life force energy flowing through you all the time. Why not use that energy for healing! But before you can do that, you have to be aware of it and really feel it. Join me in this podcast, so I can show you how to do this. It's really cool! Episode Notes: Welcome to podcast #4, where I’ll demonstrate for you that you are an energy being with energy flowing through you all the time. I’m going to show you how to become aware of it within you, and you’ll be able to feel it. I think it is so cool! But first, I just learned something that I think is very interesting. If you have a teenage daughter you’ve most likely heard these phrases: “Don’t judge me!” “You're judging her” “Don't be so judgemental” Am I right? It is the thing Not To Do. And of course, I try not to be judgmental. But scientists are telling us that we know within the first 3 seconds of meeting someone if we will like them or not. Your intuition or heart will know. In western cultures, we are taught to discount this as being judgmental. You're told, “You don’t even know this person and aren’t giving them a chance.” But your heart may have picked up on something. A vibratory signal, or something in that person's energy field that is not quite right, or not a good fit. It is not necessarily saying that person is bad; they may just not be a good fit for you. Our ancestors used this skill because they didn’t have the luxury of going to get coffee or have lunch with someone to see if you were a fit for them. Think back in caveman days. If you entered someone’s cave, they needed to know right away if you were a threat. So they developed this skill. So now, I am not saying it is okay to be judgmental and start judging everyone. However, I wouldn’t just discount your intuition and ignore those gut feelings you get when you meet someone either. Maybe there is a balance you can achieve. I thought that was pretty interesting and wanted to pass that along. When you deal with healing, getting in touch with your gut feelings and using your intuition is very important. The more you rely on it, the better you will get at receiving the information from yourself. You are much more powerful and have access to so many healing tools that are within you. And we will be jumping into different ways to use your intuition for healing in later podcasts. But today, I want to prove to you that you are an energy being. Because to do energy healing, you must first be able to access your energy and use it for healing. You need to become aware of it and feel it. But don’t worry if you don’t feel the energy. A lot of people sense it. I am not one of those people who naturally feel energy. I had to learn how to feel it. You may be someone, or have a friend who can walk into a room and feel the energy in it. They may say something like, wow, you can cut the air with a knife in this room from all the tension as they enter. Or they feel bad vibes coming from someone when they first meet them. But I’m not one of those people that feels things very much. And that is okay. We all have gifts and feeling energy if not one of mine. Energy healing is an art. It is not a science. It is like drawing, everyone can do it, but not everyone is an artist. But with a little practice, we can all become better healers for ourselves and the ones around us. I love these exercises because when I first became aware of my energy and started to focus it for healing, I felt very empowered. When my kids would get hurt, I started doing healing on them, and I swear it made a difference. But it took some practice to be able to focus my energy for healing. So if you are not gifted at it, then that is okay. You too can practice and develop your skills to become more powerful at healing. I think energy healing is the wave of the future. The nice things about it are: Anyone can do it - it takes about five mins to learn. It's free - everything you need to do it is within you. You become empowered and not helpless when someone gets sick or hurt. You don’t have to rely on anyone else. You can do it immediately - you don’t have to wait for an appointment. It's so simple anyone can do it. You can never hurt anyone. You can only help someone. So let’s get to it and let you feel the energy within you. Because before you can use it for healing, you must feel the energy within you. If it doesn’t work the first time though, don’t get discouraged. Some people are feelers and can perceive energy more than others. But with a little practice, you will be able to do it. To start, you need to: 1. Ground Yourself The first thing you must do before any healing session or any time you want to work with your energy is ground yourself. What this means is you need to: Find a quiet place to do this. Quiet your mind - Keep your mind out of it. Try to think of nothing. Let’s your thoughts go - Let your thoughts drift away. You can sit or stand, it won’t matter. 2. Pay Attention To Your Breathing Let your breathing become steady and pay attention to it. By doing this, you bring focus to yourself, and it maintains your energy. Where your thoughts go, your energy goes, so you want your thoughts on yourself, and concentrating on your breathing is the easiest way to do this. 3. Raise your pointer finger about twelve inches in front of your face. 4. Concentrate on your face. Really focus on it with things like: Look at the lines on it Think of whats inside, the bones, the blood flowing. Look at the joints and how they bend. Think of the color of your skin Look at the nail Think of anything else about that finger. 5. Just keep thinking of that finger and keep your focus on it. Keep doing it for three to five minutes then ask yourself, “Do I feel anything in my finger?” What did you feel? Did you feel anything? If you felt nothing, no worries, then try it again. Be sure to quiet yourself and make sure you are not distracted by the sense that someone is waiting for you, or maybe how stupid you feel doing this, or that you have dishes to do. What you’ll discover is that you can feel your finger in a new way. It is a subtle energy, a kind of essence around your finger, or maybe a feeling of air around the finger. What you are feeling is energy flowing through it, life force energy. This is the first step in becoming an energy healer. Now the next step in becoming aware of your energy is to be able to feel it all through your body. Here's how you do it: Again, ground yourself. Sit in a chair this time and get comfortable with your feet flat on the ground. Take a few minutes and think of your feet and concentrate on them. Do you feel anything? Then think of your ankles for the next few minutes. Did you feel your awareness move to them? Then think of your knees and then your hips. At each place you stop and concentrate, you should feel your awareness. Stay at that spot for a minute and see if you can feel anything. If not, stay at that spot for a minute or two longer. Then keep moving your awareness up your body to the next part. To your stomach, chest, shoulders, elbows, hands. Bring your awareness to your face and head. Did you feel anything in any part of your body? Remember to be in a quiet place where you are not distracted. If you are distracted, that is where your thoughts go and then your energy follows. So keep your thoughts on different parts of your body and hold them in place for a few moments. If you don’t feel anything at first, wait a while, then try it again later. Everyone can do this. If you find you can't then it just may mean you are more disconnected to your own being than others. No worries, keep practicing. Remember, energy healing is like drawing. We all can draw, we are not all artists. But with practice, we can all become at it. Do this until you begin to feel the energy in different parts of your body. Then once you become aware of the subtle energies in your body, I want you to do one more thing. Take your two hands and put them in front of you a few inches apart, palms together. Cup your hands as if there is an invisible softball between them. Rub them together for a moment vigorously. Really rub your hands together! Then hold them apart and breathe into your hands. I don’t mean to blow into them, breathe into them. Keep your mouth closed but imagine your breath moving through your arms, out your hands, and into your palms. Do this for a few moments. Do you feel a ball of energy between your hands? Keep doing it longer, and the ball of energy will become stronger, more powerful. That is one way to focus your energy and amplify it. There are many ways to amplify your energy, and we’re going to get into that in a later podcast. But for now, we just want you to get good at feeling your energy and realizing the power you have within you. Because you are a powerful being! You are a healer!! Life is about love. We all want to experience love in our lives. But sometimes it takes a bit of healing to connect and attract the love of your life. This episode talks about a woman, who with a little healing, attracted the love of her life. Episode Notes: Hello and welcome to Episode #3, where I’ll be telling you about a woman, who with a little healing, attracted the love of her life. It is really cool! Because really, life is all about love. We all want to experience love in our lives. But some people haven’t found “the right one” yet. And sometimes it just takes a little bit of healing to really connect with someone and attract the love of your life. I love stories like this with a happy ending. But it also has important healing components to it that we will be exploring. You see, I do energy evaluations for people all the time to help them figure out what is going on in their life. So many people who have health conditions and they just don’t know what is going on. They can’t find answers to what is causing it, or how to get rid of it. I know, I’ve been there. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis many years ago. I would get frustrated. Doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on, and they didn’t know how to help me except by medicating me, which I wouldn’t do. Boy, that was a tough time for me. I was scared. It took me 15 minutes to get out of bed in the morning. I felt like I was dying from something. And yet I couldn’t find anyone who had a clue about what was going on. I would be devoting so much of my time to healing and made some really good progress. But then, Bam! The healing would stop, and I wouldn’t be able to find out how to get it moving forward again. So I know first hand how frustrating it is not to know what is going on with your health. So that is why I do these evaluations, to help people. I figure it is my contribution to making this world a better place. If someone gets stuck in their healing journey, I’ll use my intuitive abilities to figure out what is going on in their bodies. I don’t look for diseases in anyone. I’ll leave that to the doctors. I look for imbalances or weaknesses in the body. And the premise is that if you support your weakest parts of your body, and deal with any imbalances, then your body will be able to heal itself. I know this is true because I lived it. I’ve also seen many other people do the same. So that is why I do these evaluations. And most times the reason why someone is stuck and can’t heal from something is that some emotion is blocking them. I won’t go into too much detail about how emotions play into healing because it would take too much time and I want to devote later episodes on emotional ties to healing. But for this episode, let’s just say that at different times in your life, emotions can get stuck inside us, in a part of your body. And if that happens, it weakens that part of the body. So for instance, if you have a negative emotion that gets stuck in your head, you may have memory problems, or brain fog because of that weakness you may be accumulating pathogens to that part of your body. Or maybe you have a negative emotion that gets stuck in your knees, then all of a sudden your knees start to hurt. Has that ever happened to any of you? Out of nowhere, your knees start to hurt for no apparent reason. Then it goes away in a day or two. Negative emotions wreak havoc on our bodies and the systems inside our bodies, but they can also affect other areas of our life too. Like maybe your ability to get a job, or hold on to a job. Or negative emotions can affect whether you are abundant or lacking, and whether you attract loving relationships into your life or not. That is the case with this particular woman who asked me to help her. Here is a true story about what happened. So she emails me and wants me to do an energy evaluation but doesn’t say anything else. I like helping people, but I don’t have that much time for it, so I try to help the people who need it most first. Give them priority. So when this woman wanted an evaluation, I emailed her back and said why, do you have any particular health issues? She writes back: My main goal is around dating and marriage and kids. I am a single 41-year-old woman, never been married and would love to have a family. I am struggling desperately with how to move forward. Since childhood, I had severe self-doubt and low self-confidence and over the last two years have become much stronger through therapy. I have put myself out there and researched how to date etc. I have gone on over 200 dates, many second and third dates, etc. But, I am so beyond stuck. I cannot connect with anyone. I've lost hope, and I haven't been able to get it back. I see all my friends having babies and no matter what I do I am meeting men who are less and less appropriate for me. I know there's a way to move beyond this, but I'm stuck in it and have no understanding of what to do to make a big shift in my life. Hopefully, you can read into it and help me see! No one wants to go through life like this. I know this wasn’t anything life-threatening, but I felt I could help, so I wrote her back. I said - I can help by doing a few things. I can first do an overall energy evaluation to see what comes up. Make sure there are no health issues that need addressing. But my guess, which ended up being right, was that she was indeed pretty healthy. Then I would do an emotional release technique that would unblock any emotions that were keeping her from moving forward and connecting with people. So anyway, I told her I would get back to her after I did the session with her. I do these sessions remotely for people with just a picture of the person to help me concentrate on them. I know it may sound weird, but it really works. It is part of the way we are all one in this universe that allows me to connect with other people who are not physically right with me. I do this for people all over the world. I am even working with a woman in Slovenia right now who is having seizures and doesn’t know why. Anyway, after doing a session with this woman, I didn’t find anything physically wrong, or any major weaknesses affecting her health. But what I did find was that her adrenal glands were testing weak. It stemmed from a very stressful situation, maybe even a terrifying one that threw her adrenals off. It may have been something that happened to you in the past, something like a car accident, a bad breakup, or maybe a sudden death of someone dear to her? But other than that, nothing too serious. So the next thing I wanted to do was an emotional unblocking technique that would remove stuck emotions in her body. You see, when we have things happen to us in life that really hurt us or cause a lot of stress, our bodies are clever. They don’t want us moping around and feeling bad. It is hard to function when you are feeling depressed or stressed out. So as a protection mechanism, our being will shove these negative emotions somewhere in our body so they don’t just permeate our energetic fields. You know when you hear people say, time heals. Well, that person’s being may have just shoved that negative emotion somewhere in their body so they forget about it and move on. This is good in many respects because otherwise we would always be immersed in negativity like fear and apprehension if we weren’t able to get past a bad situation. But our beings don’t like these bad feelings permeating our energetic field, so we shove the excess energy that gets generated from these strong emotions we felt at the time of the event somewhere in our body. We now know that everything in our universe is energy. Quantum physics tells us that. Even our thoughts and feelings are energy. Each emotion resonates at a different frequency. So if you have an intense emotion, it creates an extreme amount of energy that wells up inside us and sometimes gets stuck. Does that make sense? Think of when you get embarrassed. We’ve all been embarrassed at some time in our lives and felt our faces turn beet red. That is just the intense amount of energy welling up inside of us rising and creating increased circulation to the head. You can feel it because being embarrassed causes feelings that are usually pretty intense. This woman had intense feelings that got stuck in her. Another thing though that your being will do is if it feels the need to protect you from a harmful situation you had in life, it will take the excess energy from those strong emotions you had during that traumatic situation and create a wall of protection around you. And that wall is most times around the heart. They call this a heart wall. Also, as we live our lives, these heart walls can become thicker and thicker depending on the experiences we have. I’ve even seen people with heart walls that were many miles thick. People that continually have negative experiences around a particular situation, like breaking up with someone, would keep building up their heart wall and making it thicker and thicker. These heart walls can be a good thing because they protect us from getting hurt again. However, they also prevent us from connecting with other people too. Does that make sense? So if we release the energy that makes up this wall, it will in effect break down that heart wall and let you connect with other people again. It usually takes a few sessions of unblocking to do this; you keep slicing away at the wall. But I’ve seen excellent results with people I have been doing this on. There is a caveat though. When I do this, the person might notice for a day or two after I do it that they feel emotionally up and down. This is due to the released emotions bubbling up out of you. As they do, you may feel those emotions again. But it doesn’t last long though. A day or two tops. So if she wants me to do this, I told her to give me her permission, and I will start doing the emotional release technique on you. I will let her know what comes up after I do a session. So I did the release on her. And she wrote back. Thank you so much for this! It's very very accurate. I do have an enormous wall up from a very bad break up that I haven't been able to recover from for the last seven years. I do not feel resentment or anger around it at all. In fact, that relationship allowed me to become a much better person. But the shock of it and the sadness around it really affected me. It's almost like I stopped being able to believe or have hope. I know myself very well, and I can't say that I understand why I have a wall up, but I just cannot connect with anyone at all. I would gladly take any emotional healing techniques you offer! I'm so ready to move into what I believe is the life I deserve! Thanks so much! So then I did another session with her and told her I would be curious if she notices anything today or tomorrow. Her emotions might be a little sensitive today or tomorrow and may swing up and down. If so, then she would know it is the emotions bubbling out of you. Some people say they experience what seems like “the worst day of their lives.” It was very interesting when I did this for her because her emotions must have been very intense because only three were allowed to be released before her system went into processing mode and needed time to detox all the vibrations. You can’t push too hard through these emotions. Our bodies need time to catch up. They don’t want to be overwhelmed processing all that negativity. The released emotions were overwhelmed, betrayal, and abandonment; all trapped in and around her heart. Aw! I got that she took on the abandonment emotion around the age of 27, I am assuming it had to do with the traumatic breakup she referred to in a previous email. These emotions were pretty intense, so I was excited that she may be releasing them. Her heart wall decreased from 2 ft thick, to 7 inches thick. Anyway, as we strip away the heart wall, her connection with others should open up. So I wrote to her to let me know how her days were going and if she felt anything emotionally. She writes back again: Well, it's been interesting! Not only did I accidentally come across all the photos I hid of my last boyfriend, but I also was asked out by my first boyfriend from when I was 13. We have been out before in the past ten years, but each time he ran away! So interesting! How do I know what to do with all that!! I wrote her back: Wow, that is interesting. Not sure what you do. All I can say is that following your heart and your gut is always better than following your mind. In other words, what feels right for you not what is the logical thing to do. Your mind will play games with your ego, but your heart is always out for the best in you. In my opinion, if something feels right, meaning there is no angst or apprehension, then go for it. If there is some trepidation or some hesitation, then you either have more healing to do, or it is not the right thing or the right time to do anything. I hope this helps. This emotion code is powerful. I love it! She writes back again: The week has been interesting! I went on a date with a lovely gentleman who is from a town where my parents have a summer home. I met him. We were intimate which hasn't happened in a while for me! But he was clear that he wasn't looking for anything long distance. Disappointing! So I've attracted something, but yet it's not that deep connection I'm looking for yet again. Is something shifting or is there a reason I've attracted more of the same? I did have a wonderful time, and perhaps we will be in touch. I really really liked him very much! There has to be an end in sight to the dating and something that will bring just the perfect partner to me. Am I still somehow holding myself back despite the shift in my heart wall?? I'm so looking forward to writing you one day telling you that I've met someone great! :) So I wrote her back: The way I see it is there may be a shift happening. If you hadn’t been dating too much lately, and this guy called you, then that is a shift. My advice would be not to be too impatient. Think of a huge ship like the Titanic. You can’t turn it 180 degrees very easily. It would take time to turn that ship all the way around slowly. You are attracting connections, let them come. The worst thing you can do is to start that pattern of thinking, “here we go again.” Here are some more of my recommendations you can do to help this all along. These are things I do each morning to keep me on track in life. 1. Take 10-15 minutes each morning to center yourself. In those quiet moments do a couple of things. 2. Write five things that make you feel grateful. (i.e., I am thankful for this beautiful day. I am thankful for the love I receive on a daily basis. I am thankful for the wonderful relationship that is upon me. etc.) 3. Write five things you intend to do. (I intend to find and marry the man of my dreams. I intend to be happy in all I do. I intend to write a book. - or whatever it is that works for you.) 4. The last thing I am getting that she should do is to forgive all the men who have hurt you in the past because resentment and unforgiveness close the doors to meeting the right one. Send them love. 5. And watch your words and thoughts. Especially, your words. Speak out what you want, not what you don’t want. Create a mantra and keep saying it all day long. And then be patient. It will happen, just believe. I will do another emotional release more of your heart wall. Keep the Faith! She writes: Hello! I wanted to follow up with you- I've definitely had a very good two weeks. Much more open! What happens next? Does it show that my heart wall is more open?? Thanks so much!! I wrote her back: So glad to hear that. I plan to do another code for you today. We want to have the heart wall entirely gone. Not sure if it will be after this session, but I am sure it won’t take much more. Then watch out world, here you come! :-) I’ll let you know the results of this session, probably tonight. Then I did another emotional release for her one morning. The emotions blaming, abandonment, worry and love unreceived were the focus of this session. I am excited. I am getting that your heart wall is pretty minimal, 2 inches thick. My guess, one more session and it will be gone. That is good news. She writes: Hi Carolyn, I wanted to let you know that I have definitely felt a shift! I think I'm less "worried" and more noticing that others seem to connect more than I do. It's like I give off unwelcoming energy when I want to give off attractive energy! I wondered if that just comes in time or maybe that's just who I am and I need to stop worrying about it? I couldn’t wait to write her back, I said: It is definitely not who you are! We are all perfect, made in the image of God. It is our experiences and perceptions in life that change who we become. I believe she just needed to quit worrying about it, that definitely doesn’t help. She needed to keep envisioning herself connecting with people and believing it will happen. Keep that vision in your mind, and you can even speak the words. You still have a heart wall, not very big anymore, but it is still there. So I told her to let’s keep doing the emotion release until the heart wall is gone. So I wrote her back and said: Good Morning, I just did another emotion release on you. I got your heart wall down to a tiny thickness. But it is still there. I would suspect that the next round will finally remove it. What I got this time was abandonment. I got that something happened to you at birth and you felt abandoned. Can you think of what that is referring to? Did something happen when you were born? I am also getting that you should go online to the dating sites. There is someone waiting for you there. :-) She writes back. Yes, I had a traumatic birth. My heart rate dropped, so the doctors took me away from my mother - she had to fight to go and see me in the nic-u and hold me. But growing up I would always feel like people were leaving me behind or not waiting for me. It's been a theme throughout my life! ( I thought to myself, see how that feeling of being left behind is a life pattern that has affected her whole life.) She says, I used to tell them to wait for me if we were leaving a park, etc. For a very long time growing up I didn't feel connected to my mother - one dream I had she got so mad at me that she gave me away to the neighbors! I've done tons of therapy about it and my mom and I are very very close now but somehow that feeling still has a grip! Can I do anything in the meantime? I came home to a very quiet, empty apartment and all my friends are getting married, having babies, moving to be with their boyfriends and even celebrating their children's graduations into high school! I can't help but feel like I have a big hole in my life where a family should be! I wrote back: Good Morning, Wow, I am always amazed at what we go through in life, and in your case when you are so young, that can affect us well into the future. I truly believe we are on this earth to experience things and learn. The journey we travel in life is to help us, even if it is hard sometimes. It is meant to expand our wisdom. And sometimes if we can appreciate all we’ve been through and know that it was meant for our good, we can take the focus off the hardship and put our focus on the good it will produce in us. I just did her last and final emotional release because I am getting your heart wall is gone. That is great news! Now try to relax knowing there is nothing holding you back except yourself. I told her - You are a beautiful person who deserves so much out of life. Maybe in your mindfulness send love to that little girl who was feeling abandoned and felt disconnected. Visualize the light of love reaching out to your young self. That little girl may need healing. When we heal our past, it can have a huge impact on our present and future. And by the way, never give up because what does that mean exactly. What would change if you were to give up? You must always keep your faith and sometimes it is okay to pause and take a break from pushing so hard, but never give up. Your happiness is well worth any effort you can give it! Dear Carolyn, I cannot thank you enough for the work you did on my heart wall. Just as you said, everything opened up for me! Work went nuts for me, I feel more secure in my life and I seriously met the man of my dreams and beyond!!! Thank you for everything! Wasn’t that the cute story. It is a great example of how our emotions block good things from happening to us in life. This is also an example of how it took time to release all the emotional garbage she had within her. It wasn’t an instant thing. If she had given up after the first healing and thought it didn’t work, it wouldn’t have. She stuck to it, with patience and it finally came to be. That is crucial, healing takes time. Boy, I love doing this for people. It’s my contribution to making this world a better place. In later podcasts, we will go into exactly how these emotions form a heart wall and why. But I thought it interesting to see a real-life example of how when we remove emotions, things open up in life. And there are a lot of ways of releasing these emotions; you don’t always have to go to someone to get them released. We'll be delving into that too in later podcasts. Learn how to tap into your subconscious mind to get information about yourself that you can use to get healthy or stay healthy. It's a powerful healing tool that is so easy, and yet many people have never heard of it. If you're serious about your health, you need to learn this technique. Episode Notes: Hello and welcome to episode #2 titled “How to Tap Into Your Subconscious Mind To get healthy.” I can’t believe it is so easy, yet so many people don’t know how to do it. But First: Before we get into the podcast and tell you how to do it, I want to start by posing a question: imagine if you had a way to tap into your subconscious mind, to get answers to questions about your health. It’s like a direct line to your intuition. Wouldn’t that be great! Think about it, you wake up in the morning and want to do something to get more healthy, like eating right. But you don’t know what to do. Or maybe you want to start a diet, but don’t know which one is right for you. You do all the research and learn all types of diets and ways to eat like the Paleo Diet, Atkins Diet, South Beach Diet. Vegan Diet, or Mediterranean Diet. The list is endless, and many of them are really healthy for you. But are they right one for you. If foods play such an essential role in how healthy we are, why are we guessing at what to eat? Why not go right to the source, YOU, and ask yourself. Let me give you an example. I feel the best on a Mediterranean diet. That’s my go-to way to eat if I start to feel unhealthy. But no matter how healthy I ate, I still had minor health issues that bothered me. It wasn’t awful, but I had eczema that wouldn’t go away. I also had post nasal drip, not very bad, but they were always there. Then I learned that I was sensitive to tomatoes. Oh my gosh, that was a game changer for me. Once I stayed away from tomatoes, I no longer struggled with inflammation and flare-ups. With this test, I finally got rid of the foods that contributed to my post nasal drip and eczema. How did I do it? I tapped into my subconscious mind and tested different foods to see if I reacted to any. And tomatoes were it. I later learned I also react to gluten, so I removed that from my diet too. Doing this testing is a game changer when you want to heal from anything. It also helps you stay healthy if you think you already are. Your body only has so many resources. If you struggle with something that is hard to digest, how the heck can you expect it to heal from anything. Your body can’t do it all. So if you eat foods that are easy to digest, healthy for you, then your body can devote it’s resources to something else, like healing. Think about if you were cleaning a room and someone kept dumping more crap into it. You would get exhausted from the constant cleanup. Your body would also get exhausted from dealing with a constant flow of foods it finds hard to digest. That is where this technique comes into play. To see what foods would be easy for you to eat, You can use this to test which vitamins or minerals you would need that day to feel your best. I test myself every day to see which supplements will help me best that day. And one day I woke up and all of a sudden I needed like 10,000 mg of vitamin c. I thought that was a little weird, but I took them. Then later that day I started to feel a little under the weather. And I thought to myself, darn it, my subconscious mind knew I was going to have to fight off a cold today, so I tested higher for vitamin C. How cool is that? Your subconscious mind knows everything about you. It has been with you since the day you were born. It knows what you ate that made you feel good. It knows what you ate that made you feel horrible. It knows every thought you ever had, every action you ever took, everything from the beginning of your life, and beyond that if you really want to think about it. This technique will show you how to get answers from all that you experienced. Another way to look at it, with quantum physics, we know we are energy beings. We have energy flowing through us all the time. When we come in contact with something that is good for us, our energy is allowed to flow. When we come in contact with something that is bad for us, our energy gets disrupted, And we can feel the difference in whether it is flowing or disrupted. That is how a polygraph machine works; you know the lie detector machines you see on detective shows. That is all those machines are doing. They are trying to find the difference in your energy from a truthful statement and a lie. So with this technique, you can start asking questions that will get right to the heart of what is right for you and what would be unhealthy. There are so many ways you can use this technique, so let’s get started. You need to learn it first. Here is how you do it. With your subconscious mind, you are naturally attracted to positive, truthful, and the affirmative. And on the flip side of that, you will repeal anything that is negative, or untruthful. You can do it with me right now, or just listen and try it later. The one thing though, is if it doesn’t work the first time, that’s okay. You may be a little disconnected from yourself. Keep doing it. With a little practice, you will get that connection to yourself, your intuition, and get better results. Start by standing up and relaxing. Take a deep breath and shake out your tension. Take a moment and clear your mind. Close your eyes which isn’t necessary, but helpful at first. Until you get good at it, closing your eyes will help you stay focused. Now I want you to center yourself by doing what is called thumping your thymus. This simple procedure will help you get better results. So don’t forget to do it. Your thymus is in the center of your chest, so hit it lightly three times and then say I love you once. Now, with your eyes closed, and standing relaxed, make the statement, “show me yes." Say it out loud. “show me yes," because yes is affirmative. After you say that phrase, stand there relaxed and see what your body does. Does it sway forward or backward? For most people, it will sway forward. Now, bring yourself back to the center, and say to yourself “Show me no,” because no is negative. Then stand there again and see what happens. Most people will sway backward. Don’t worry if you don’t do anything at first. You may just be too self-conscious, or maybe you are just a bit disconnected from your subconscious. Try it again and see if it works. If not, then wait a while and try it later. It will work, you just have to keep your mind out of it. Some of us like to be in control way too much, and we can’t keep our minds out of it. With this technique, it helps to relax your mind, and not think about anything, let your subconscious mind come to the surface. Once you do this, then the next step would be to test something. Go to your kitchen and take out some sugar. Sugar is easy to test because sugar is bad for everyone. I can’t think of anyone who benefits from eating white sugar. Put the bag of sugar, or a jar of sugar in your hands and hold it at your solar plexus which is at your belly button. It doesn’t matter if the sugar is in a vessel or bag, it will still work. Now ask the question, is this sugar good for my health Stand there and see if you sway forward, or backward. My guess is you will sway backward because sugar is bad for you. Then take a nice clean red apple, and do the same thing with that. Put it at your navel and ask, is this good for my health if I eat this. Maybe you will sway forward, or lean backward. Apples are very healthy, but you may be sensitive to them. So trust that if you sway backward, that apple is not good for you to eat. Maybe your apple is covered in pesticides, who knows. Now, there is one aspect of this test that is important. The questions you ask are significant. The questions need to be a yes or no answer. But more importantly, they need to be objective, not subjective. And what I mean by that is that is I can ask the question, is this good for my health. And the answer is either yes or no. There is no grey area there. But if I ask a subjective question, like "should I eat this?" That is not a good question to ask because your subconscious mind might respond by saying, "sure if you want to die and live unhealthily, then go ahead and eat it." But if you want to live healthily, then don’t. I know that may sound weird, but some people don’t want in their psyche to get healthy. In their subconscious mind, they don’t want to be healthy. Maybe there is something that they gain by not being healthy. So just be sure to ask objective questions like "is this good for my health?", or "is this bad for my health?" Or - Will this be hard to digest for me? Or - With this improve my health, things like that. And that is it. Go ahead and try it. Have fun with it. Ask which vitamins in your cupboard will be good for your health if you took them right now. Grab one at a time and ask. Ask if it would be better for your health if you took a vitamin with food, or would it be best if you took it alone, without food. See how fun this is and how powerful it can be. In this episode, I’ll reveal the secret to healing anything. Here’s a hint, it has to do with the energy you have within you. I’ll also give insights as to why our population isn’t getting healthier despite all the advances in Western Medicine. I learned to heal when I was faced with a serious medical condition, now I want to help you. Episode Notes: Hello and welcome! I am so excited to begin this project because I have wanted to do this for a long time. We put a lot of work into it, and it is finally here. I am also excited because I feel like I am sitting on a secret that I want to out. That secret is that your body knows how to heal! That’s right, it does. You were born with that ability. It is innate in all of us. We just forgot how because the medical profession keeps coming to our rescue, or at least they think they do. They don’t want you to know this because if you do, you may just heal yourself and not need them anymore. Sounds weird, doesn’t it. To them, if you can manage your symptoms while on their medications and live a fairly productive/ happy life, then they think that is good for you, and it is good for their bottom line, which makes them happy. To them, it is a win-win situation. Think about it, if they healed you, you wouldn’t need their drugs anymore, and they would lose a life-long customer for their products. They want you dependent on their medications! But they forget to tell you, or purposefully leave out the fact that there are side effects that come with those medications. They forget to tell you that you will get more unhealthy, and have problems in your body down the road if you take all those meds. You’ve seen those commercials for drugs that might take away a something minor, but their side effect is sudden death. Someday we are going to be looking back at this period and wonder how crazy this is to be given the choice of relieving your headache, or sudden death. Kind of like how they use to think mercury would cure diseases. Now we know mercury is lethal to our systems. I know that sounds depressing to think someone wouldn’t want you to get healthy. But it doesn’t have to be that way because your body knows how to heal. What I want to do is devote my time to helping you realize your healing potential. Your body knows how and can do it. And I am going to be showing you ways for you to take control of your health and begin your healing journey. And that is why I am so excited to start this podcast to help you heal. You see, I am a medical intuitive, and energy healer I help people heal all the time. But if I had a practice, I would only be able to reach a few people each day. The idea behind this podcast is that I can hopefully reach more people and help them heal themselves. Because that is another secret that needs to get out there. Nobody can heal you; you must heal yourself. It is you that must do the healing. Sure people can help you like doctors and other health practitioners, but they don’t do any healing. In the end, it is you that must do the healing. I know it sounds like I’m splitting hairs, but it’s a significant difference because if you wait for other people to do the healing, it may never happen. However, if you take responsibility to do the healing yourself, then it may happen. And finally, there is another secret to healing that is crucial if you want to be healthy. And that is that healing is a journey, it is not a destination. Your health is on a continuum, it never plateaus. There is never a point in time where your brain says, “boy, am I healthy, I think I’ll stay this way.” It’s not like that. Each day you are either doing things that promote healing to get you healthier or doing things that expose you to unhealthy situations. And if you want to lead a healthy, happy life, you’ve got to devote time each day to healing, so you are always getting better. Because if you aren’t getting better, you’re getting worse. And you don’t want that. So by getting better each day, even if it is just a little bit, you hopefully keep a disease from settling in. It’s about paying attention to the little things and paying attention to what your body is telling you. Did you know your body talks to you? It sends you signals that something isn’t right. And if you heal something at the first sign of your body telling you something, you hopefully prevent it from manifesting into something more serious. Here’s an example. Let’s say you discover you have dandruff. Okay, you may not think you are sick and need healing. But that dandruff is telling you something. It might be telling you that you have a fungal infection on your scalp. If you heal the fungal infection, it won’t escalate into something more serious. Would you want that fungal infection to go to your liver or kidneys? If it grew and traveled to another part of your body, it would weaken that part of your body which would then impact another part of your body. And the domino effect begins which could eventually lead to disease. So if you heal your dandruff right from the beginning, you prevent a disease from settling in. If you don’t pay attention to your body when it first starts to tell you something, the signals only get louder and louder. And that is why everyone needs healing, every day! Does that make sense? You know, we live in a very exciting time. Have you noticed a shift going on out there? If you haven’t, it’s there. It has to do with our consciousness and how we think of health and healing. It is a shift in our fundamental beliefs about how we heal. For millions of years, traditional cultures defined the human body as a holistic system. They looked at the body as a whole and supported it to keep it healthy. Then hopefully you could heal. They had to; they didn’t have modern medical devices or x-ray machines. They didn’t have all the gadgets and instruments for healing as we do now. They used methods like acupuncture, aromatherapy and paid attention the mind and body as one entity. This is in contrast to western medicine which is based on the physical science of healing. If something is broke, then fix it with either a surgical procedure or a chemical that alleviates the symptom. Another advancement that framed western medicine came a few thousand years ago when a Greek physician named Galen was the first to promote the use of a diagnosis as the key to healing. He studied the human anatomy which led to the idea of instead of just treating the whole body, they zeroed in on the specific thing that is wrong and fixed it. This lead to the current way we think of healing by waiting for a disease or negative health condition to pop up, and only then do we look for a cause and then fix it. And finally, another major advancement that shaped modern western medicine is the idea of isolating a compound found in nature and using that isolate for healing. The idea was that it would be more potent and more effective if you didn’t have to digest the whole plant, just give them a higher dose of whatever was in the plant that did the healing. Then they even took it a step further and would find a way to synthetically create the isolated active ingredient because then they could patent it and make millions of dollars. So those three major categories of advancements: depending on physical science instead of energy, making a diagnosis instead of looking at the whole body, and isolating the healing properties in nature, all lead to what we call our modern western medicine. Unfortunately, western medicine, with all those advancements, still hasn’t been able to cure everything. Think of the rising rates of cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. If western medicine was the end all, why do these rates continue to rise? Well, I think the pendulum has shifted too far towards western medicine philosophies. I am not saying western medicine is bad; it has just become a little too one-sided. Getting back to treating the body as a whole, and the mind/body/spirit connection is very important. And that’s where energy healing comes in. The shift is here because people are more open to it now. The millennials, the gen X, Y or Z’ers, whatever you call them are much more open to energy healing because they don’t like seeing their grandparents and parents rely on chemicals and drugs, or the doctors who push them with little results. The millennials are the first generation that is predicted to have a shorter lifespan than their parents. That is crazy. So they’re looking to take responsibility for their health, instead of leaving it in the hands of a doctor they see for 15 minutes whenever they get sick. And it is exciting to me because now science is catching up by uncovering evidence that supports energy healing. I remember many years ago when I first started getting into energy healing; people thought I was crazy. My friends and even some in my family would call it the witchy stuff. But not anymore. People are using energy healing all the time. When they go to an acupuncturist, or when they use homeopathic products, that is energy healing. Or when they practice yoga, meditation or mindfulness. Even Reikki and hands-on healing have become popular. According to a CDC study* from June of 2016, 30 billion dollars was spent on complementary and alternative health approaches. I know, nowhere near the spending on traditional medicine which was around $374 billion in 2014. But it is still a significant amount. And that is only part of the shift when so many people go to an energy healer as an alternative to conventional medicine. The real shift will be when people realize they can use energy healing for themselves and their loved ones. Then it gets interesting. And that is where I want to focus my efforts. I want to show people how to use energy healing techniques for self-care and self-healing. I’m not saying that energy for self-healing will replace the need for doctors or other health professionals. I want to reveal ways you can help yourself no matter what you do for healing. Who knows, you may just heal yourself altogether. Wouldn’t it be great if you could perform healing techniques and affect how fast your child heals from a cold or flu? What if you or someone in your family came down with a serious illness. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to help them get better faster? You wouldn’t have to sit there helpless and watch a disease take over their bodies. That is what this podcast is all about. I want to empower people with the knowledge of self-healing by using the energy they have within them. I want to show you ways you can affect your healing with simple, easy to learn techniques that I use. In my podcast we will start by learning a fundamental way to tap into your intuition and get answers to things like what foods should you eat to stay healthy, or what supplements should you take to feel better and healthier. Wouldn’t you love to know that instead of just guessing each day? It is so simple, and yet it amazes me that most people have never heard about it. If you want more control over your body, your health, and your life, then this is the podcast for you. To give you a little background on me: I was an engineer for many years before I had children. Then after having two beautiful little boys running around ages 4 and 2, I finally got my little baby girl, Maty. You can imagine how happy I was except things changed drastically that day when the nurse in the maternity ward handed her to me and said, “she just doesn’t look right.” She called in a team of doctors who examined her and said she looks fine to them. She just has a heart murmur that all babies have when they are born. Don’t worry; it will close up in a few days. But the nurse, before she even bathed her said it again. She just doesn’t look right. Here I was holding a screaming 10lb baby girl who looked healthy to me. But luckily, the nurse was our angel from heaven because she persisted with her gut feeling and hooked Maty up to a machine called an oximeter, which measures the amount of oxygen in her system. And it was very low. So they rushed her away to examine her and broke the news to us that she had severe congenital heart defects. She was also born without a spleen and had a compromised immune system. They whisked her away to the neonatal intensive care unit where she had heart surgery two days later. She then had open heart surgery at six months old and one last open heart surgery just before her 5th birthday. And if that wasn’t enough, because boy was that a lot, three days after we brought her home from the hospital, I was struck with severe back pain and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It took me 15 minutes to get out of bed each morning. We were a medical mess, in and out of doctors offices multiple times a week for the first five years of Maty’s life. And it was hard, for sure. But it got even worse. After her last surgery when Maty turned 5, she developed alopecia and psoriasis all over her body. And after all she went through, I felt terrible for her. Not only that, but I was still struggling with my arthritis. So I figured as any mother would, I had to do something. So I started researching natural ways of healing, and it became my passion. I would put the kids to bed and stay up all hours of the night to learn everything I could about any disease because I found so many similarities with diseases. I got certified as a holistic health practitioner and got certified in energy healing techniques. I also used my energy healing techniques to formulate health products and founded a company called Maty’s that manufactures these formulas we sell nationally in stores like Walmart, CVS, Target and, Walgreens. But the best thing is I no longer live with rheumatoid arthritis, and Maty is healthy as can be. You would never have known anything was wrong when she was growing up. Her immune system is robust, she never gets sick and has never had any complications due to her heart surgeries. That’s saying a lot. We’ve been blessed. That is why I want to pay it forward. But I attribute a lot of her doing so well, and me living arthritis free with us learning the secrets to healing and doing it every day. Part of the secret to healing is the fact that: Your body knows how to heal. You just have to get out of its way to allow your healing to begin. I’ll explain more about that later. Another thing is that everything you need to know about healing is within you, you just need to know how to tap into that inner knowing to allow the healing to keep moving forward. And I’ll reveal how you can do that in a later podcast. The third thing is that healing should be continually done. Our health never plateaus, you are always getting better, or you’re getting worse. Your body never says, hey, I am feeling pretty good, I think I will stay like this. Oh no. Each day you are either doing things that will improve your health, or you are exposed to things that would negatively affect your health like a stressful day or be bombarded by pesticides. So if you devote time each day to healing, and minimize the exposure to things that negatively affect your health, you will eventually heal. And finally, actual healing takes time. People are so impatient these days. They always want that quick fix. But with real healing, you just want to keep moving forward. If you do that, you will eventually happen. I’ll show you what it looks like to heal. So there you have it. My first podcast. Like I said before, I am so excited to be doing this. I’m tired of keeping this information to myself. I have so much I want people to know about healing. That way, everyone can benefit and take control of their health and their lives. I am hoping that with the knowledge from this podcast, you won’t feel helpless if you do get sick. You won’t have to rely solely on other people and can rely more and more on yourself for healing. And that is a good thing. It’s time. When it comes to our health, the pendulum has swayed too much in one direction for too long. Now it is coming back. And one way is with energy healing. The difference here is that you won’t have to always go to an energy healer for help. There is energy healing you can do right now, for yourself and your loved one. It’s simple, and yet very effective. And that is where this podcast comes in. I have devoted it to healing because healing isn’t only for the sick. Healing is for everyone, every day!
