Manage episode 409692493 series 3565415
Today, I am joined by the extraordinary Shannon Simpson, a certified nutritionist and wellness coach who overcame cancer and a painful childhood of abuse. Shannon resides in the Pacific Northwest on Vancouver Island British Columbia, Canada with her husband, 15-year-old twins, and little dog Eevee.
Shannon's journey led her to a transformation of self discovery and the realization that only she held the keys to her healing; something she had to go deep within to find. Her introspective experience and wisdom is an example that many women in the menopausal experience can lean into as as they learn to navigate through a significant but often confusing and lonely time in life.
Book mentioned: When the Body Says No by Dr. Gabor Maté.
