We all are going to have excuses in life. The difference between those who win and those who don't is the winners will challenge those excuses and those who don't win, well they fall victim to those excuses.
David Goggins talks about his shortcomings. He talks about how he needed to write page by page everything in his dive manual. He knew he wasn't the best student so he worked harder than others to figure it out.
Are you willing to work harder to figure it out? Or is the easy road the road you want? The one that everyone has taken. It is worn down and beat up. The flowers are all picked. The grass is gone because of all the footsteps. The question I ask myself is what am I giving up by taking the easy road?
There will be times when you choose the easy road and you need to recognize them and stop.
Stop because what's easy today becomes hard tomorrow!
Take the hard path and mentally get tougher!
