Ben’s story is one of deep pain, frustration, and wrestling with God ultimately leading to an unexpected outlet for his suffering. Ben’s book, In Our Suffering, Lord Be Near, is a raw, vulnerable, and poetic image of the truth that we will have trouble in this world but that God is with us every step of the way. This episode is a powerful reminder that suffering is part of the fallen world we live in and that when we surrender our pain to God, He will always use it for our good.
