Join me for the third episode in my 8 part series about my time with WA Police.
In this episode we dive into my second and final rotation as a Probationary Constable - my time at North West Metro Response.
This was like being thrown into the deep end of response policing dealing with everything from family domestics to disturbances, from welfare checks to sudden deaths and fatal accidents. Life on the front line was faced paced and explosive with a never ending list of incidents to attend.
While I had an amazing team it wasn't without dramas from a fellow female colleague yet commendations from strangers on the other. You will also hear about my first time having a close encounter with a knife and the realisation that you must always remain vigilant along with the surprising spaces people will hide to avoid arrest.
Join me as I reflect on my time as a response officer and the lessons I learned to further my policing career.
