This week's on the show Maine and Josh recap Who's Number One headlined by Kaynan Duarte vs Rodolfo Vieira, we recap Fight 2 Win 159, we preview Third Coast Grappling 5 and Submission Underground 19.

In the news section of the show we discuss Mikey Musumeci being recognized with the fastest submission in IBJJF we talked about our upcoming top 10 of 2020 show, and touch on a little bit of Japanese Judo qualifying for the Olympics.

In the recap section of the show we kick it off with Who's Number One WNO recapping The entire main card we discussed the dominant Victory Duarte took over Viera. We talked about Geo Martinez vs Kennedy Maciel, and how it is incredibly difficult to look good against Martinez. We discuss a little bit of the passing and some of the Guard work by Martinez. In our recap of Roberto Jimenez vs. Dante Leone we discuss the leg locks and the focus on knee bar entries versus heel hooks, and discuss the trajectory of both athletes moving forward in Vagner Rocha vs. Thor we discuss a Vagner moving up in weight, and potentially the changes that this will have in his game moving forward after this dominant performance. We discussed Tye Ruotolo's finish of Kody Steele, and his APE index. We talked about the contrast in his grappling over the last few years, and discuss his unknown ceiling. In Mayssa Bastos vs Grace Gundrum we discuss how Bastos is still the top athlete in woman's rooster weight.

In our recap of Fight to Win 159 We discuss Devonte Johnson defeating Guillermo Augusto then Johnny Tama, vs Jackson Nagai, and the guard work at play; and recap Jessica Flowers versus talita Nogueira, where Flowers put on a closed but dominating performance against Nogueira.

In the preview section of the show we talked about Third Coast Grappling 5 headlined by Fellipe Andrew and William Tackett. Maine and Josh are very excited about this matchup and had a difficult time picking, hypothesizing that the match will be a leglock battle between the two. We also discuss the rest of the main card, including John Combs versus Pedro Marinho that will be a battle of the guillotine, and a leg locks, we discuss Kody Steel versus Edwin Najmi and Jordan Holy versus Ruben Rivera.

In our preview of Submission Underground 19 we very briefly go through all of the matchups including our pick for Mason Fowler in the main event. We talked about Cowboy vs Rafael dos Anjos most likely going to overtime, and we both pick how quickly we believe Craig Jones will win via heel hook.

In the outro section of the show Maine and Josh discuss work, and wish everyone a happy holiday.
