Our wedding was scheduled to be October 10th, 2024.. the same day the fifth largest hurricane was heading straight for our destination, Siesta Key Beach, FL.
In this crazy turn of events, we turned an unexpected evacuation into an intimate elopement.
To cancelling all wedding plans to my sister getting ordained to marry us and our guests being a couple of news crews.. this story couldn't be any more on brand for us.
