Some of us hold back from sharing Jesus because we assume that if we share the Good News, we are obligated to point out and correct all the sin in the person’s life.
But we all have sin in our lives, don’t we? We don’t want to minimize or sugar-coat it. But God deals with our sins gently and kindly and reveals Himself to people through His kindness, not His judgment.
Titus 3 says it this way… Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But—When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
The Holy Spirit will bring conviction of sin when the time is right. We can trust Him to do His job. This is your job: share Jesus and let God reveal His kindness and love through you.
