Are you planning on selling? If so, you're in luck -- we have six tips to help you prepare your home for the market.
- Declutter. First impressions are the most important. You want potential buyers to be able to visualize their families in your home.
- Clean. Wipe down all flat surfaces and countertops, make sure nothing is spilled on the floor, clean the windows, and just have the home really clean and inviting.
- Lighting. If you have poor lighting, it's going to make the home look smaller and not quite as appealing.
- Update your hardware. For example, replacing your cabinet nobs and door knobs is always a great idea to give your home a fresh, clean look.
- New paint. Add a fresh coat of paint to give your home a new-home smell and make sure that all colors are neutral.
