Welcome to the Rooted Working Mom podcast. We are mothers who work and are rooted in Christ.
Today is the final episode of the three-part series: Bite-Sized Health & Nutrition for the Christian Mom, with special guest and registered dietitian nutritionist Kristen Noriega. Kristen is a food and nutrition expert who helps moms just like us seamlessly fit fun foods, really good nutrition, and movement that lights us up into the cracks of our day. She is the host of the Baby Weight Nutritionist podcast.
Be sure you've listened to parts 1 & 2, if not I recommend you go back and listen to them (episodes 59 & 60) and then come back to this one.
As a quick recap, we talk about the answers to questions like:

  1. How does a busy mom who has no time even get started?
  2. What does bite-sized nutrition look like?
  3. What is the best way to get the habit to stick?
  4. What kind of foods should she start to include?

In this episode, we declare the Truth that you are CHOSEN to be a working mom by God and He is SO good and helps us find ways to get your workout in each day. We dive into how you can be flexible, based on your day, and move your body even when you don’t have time. Starting small builds momentum and motivation. Let’s remove the worldly expectations of a working mom so that you can fulfill what God has called you to do and your purpose in life!
