There are hundreds of vegan burgers on the market to help take cows off the menu, but what to do about steak lovers? Enter Juicy Marbles, whose Chief Brand Officer, Vladimir Mićković, joins us this week to give us the scoop on their plant-based whole cuts and the vegan scene in their home country of Slovenia.

ABOUT OUR GUEST

Vladimir Mićković is the Chief Brand Officer / Communication Strategist / Gabagool for Juicy Marbles. Before the business of plant-based whole-cuts, Vladimir was a brand strategist, designer & lecturer. Most recently, he was also a restaurateur and one of the founders of Kucha, an award-winning restaurant in Europe. In its short time, Kucha ranked 25th among the top vegan bistros in Europe and was recognized as one of the top destinations in Slovenia, his home country. Vladimir’s primary interests lie in how we talk about food, wanting it to be viewed in a creative and approachable way. His work is heavily influenced by comedy, theater, and art. He believes the utilization of comedy and other “non-rational” forms of communication will play a vital role in our transition to a more just and responsible food system.
