My 8 year old asked why we celebrate Thanksgiving... There is so much turmoil going on in the world. So much of our past has been toxic and much of our present. American's aren't the only ones with a toxic history but we don't have to continue to uphold the lies of our past. How do you honor the Native Americans while honoring the gifts of your present? In this episode I take a moment to share about my love/hate relationship with the holiday season and how I've been turning it around for the sake of my mental health.
