Of all the topics you discuss when you're having a baby - 'what if it comes 12 weeks early' - isn't top of the list for most parents. Sadly, it's a reality for a lot of parents across the world.
In 2021, 53,000 babies were born prematurely in the UK alone. 6% were extremely preterm (before 28 weeks).
