The doctors are joined by John Huemoeller, CEO of AXIM Biotechnologies, who is a biotech leader on a mission to innovate the eye care industry with a new one-of-a-kind test that helps to diagnose people with Dry Eye Disease.
As we know, Dry Eye Disease has been very difficult to diagnose due to its symptoms and many causes, it is estimated to impact at least 6.8% of the U.S. population. AXIM’s new MMP-9 test, which is the first rapid quantitative tear test for Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), an inflammatory biomarker for Dry Eye Disease, is set to change the future of DED diagnostics.
