On this episode, MindStrong Founder Harvey Martin sits down with Jake Butt, TE Denver Broncos to chat about his time in the NFL, navigating a series of injuries, and advice on keeping your head above water when injuries try to drag you down.
Simply put, Jake is one tough son of b****. He has been through multiple ACL tears, meniscus tears, and the agony of rehab and recovery that comes with each of those. When the MSP team trained Jake back in March 2021, we were all amazed by Jake's positivity and energy for life given the rough road he was dealt trying to pursue his dream.
Jake opens up about the toll the injuries played on him as well as what he has done to keep his body healthy and his mind focused in the right direction. This is a must listen for anyone dealing with injury or currently going through the rehab process.
