You have plenty of time to be real eventually but start out sunshine and roses. *He doesn't have enough data to know you otherwise. Give him enough good data so when the little stuff going wrong won't stand out. *Be specific if you change dates. *Do you know what you want? And are you realistic? DON’T KNOW AND DON’T CARE. *Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement and energy. The belief is that energy swirls around your home and you can either block the energy or you enhance it. Each home has areas assigned to each part of life, including love. Let’s enhance that area, not block it! *I DON’T BELIEVE FENG SHUI TAKES THE PLACE OF COACHING BECAUSE YOU COULD STILL GET IN YOUR OWN WAY PLENTY OF TIMES, BUT I THINK IT HELPS. *HERE’S HOW TO DO IT: DOWNLOAD A BAGUA FROM THE INTERNET – I’VE INCLUDED ONE I LIKE IN THE SHOW NOTES. Those are perfect for where my love area is, which incidentally is our bedroom. If you have a picture up, make it one of you and your beloved. If you don’t have a beloved, move the picture of just you elsewhere. If you have a picture of your dog, move it unless you have two dogs. Lovebirds is a great option, amazon has some. *You can decorate with fresh flowers – make sure they are alive and get rid of them immediately once they die. You can also decorate with photos or paintings with flowers. That works just as well. *You don’t want conflict in this room. No object or image that’s negative, sad, makes you angry or lonely. If you really like the art, put it in another place. *Feel free to decorate with pink, red or white – but don’t make it too girly if you’re single. If you’re looking for a relationship with a man, you’ll want the place to be very comfortable for both of you. *If you like sexy art, I found some great pieces for a reasonable about of money on Etsy. But again, if you have a person in the artwork, make sure it’s two people. *Do not put a mirror across from your bed. The energy bounces back and forth. You can cover it with a towel or a sheer curtain if you want to improve the restfulness. *if your love area is in a cluttered area like a garage or a closet, clean it out as soon as possible. *Healthy green plants are helpful in the love area. I encourage women to encourage the men in their lives to listen. Have a conversation, a real one without distractions, talk about the future. Don't get stuck in the how. The super power is in the discomfort. The panty dropper is learning how to listen and apologize, but women need to quit apologizing all the time. He genuinely apologized for something he did wrong. Usually when he's mad, it's about him, not "you." He felt like apologizing might be weakness. Discusses relationship to time, end of life and where healing needs to take place. Dudes, you can learn to apologize correctly and we don't have to fix everything. What do you want? It helps give guidance. Discussing polarity. For men, find men to work things out with and the same with women. If men would ask questions of women they meet, they are automatically up several notches. Send us a text Very special episode with a special guest, a two-parter, Mike Watts. You may know him as married to Kate Northrup and co-founder of Kate Northrup (they created Relaxed Money). We're talking on the topic of "conscious men," and what do we mean by that? You'll have to listen! This is a PERFECT episode to invite the men in your life. Two firsts: first time a man was a guest and the first time he's younger than 50. Diane thinks he's a conscious man. The definition from Diane is the kind of guy uplifting other people in the room, men AND women, not a perfect guy but always learning and trying to be a better man. Mike agrees that he would consider himself one. He doesn't know how to find them, but here's his background. He's always been around large numbers of women. Kate wasn't a pushover. We're both Virgos and we both have Scorpios rising. He realized he's not right all the time. What's the purpose of life? He'd like to be a better person when he dies and have fun doing it. So he's put himself in uncomfortable situations. Letting kids have their own opinions, he's always interested in his kids. The kids can state their opinions and he listens. He thought therapy was about trauma only, but now goes when needed. Enjoys men's events. He especially enjoys Sacred Sons, not religious or militaristic and contains diversity. "Men can't heal with women, they need men. Women can heal through conscious men but not the other way around." One part of the success of their 10 year marriage: they really like each other. Prefers the term "conflict" instead of "fighting" or "arguing." They have shared interests like company, the kids, movies, traveling. Also enjoy solo time. When he's 50, he likes what he does now. He's looking forward to hanging around for breakfast, coffee, dominoes and pickle ball. Suggestions for men who want to be more conscious: have real conversations, what are their desires for the future? Getting to know that person. You may want to check out, but stay with it. Don't get stuck in the how. The feeling of "how do I fix this now?" is where the Super Power is. It's called the Panty Dropper. What a cliffhanger!
