This week's guest is Bryan McCauley, Program Coordinator for FRAT (First Responder Addictions Treatment) which is a program that sits within the general community at Livengrin, Philadelphia’s premier addiction recovery service since 1966. FRAT is dedicated to helping former police, fire and EMS workers as well as veterans, among others.
The programs offered at Livengrin help people achieve lasting and meaningful recovery over substance abuse. They offer a holistic and personalized approach in its treatment of alcohol and drug addiction. Since 1966, they have carefully and confidentially assisted countless individuals determined to overcome their drug dependencies. In doing so, they have also given them the hope and promise of a new tomorrow.
Bryan shares his own personal journey not only of how he became Program Coordinator of the FRAT program, but how he benefited as a patient and what he learned from the process. Through it all, he found his calling while helping those who have served so courageously to find hope.
