This is episode 318. Have you been with me from the beginning? Maybe you just found me and started listening to this latest episode.

Either way, I’m happy you’ve joined me today because we’ll be exploring the answer to a question so many women have: “Why am I still not losing weight?” I keep listening and reading and searching the web. What’s the problem?

Over the years, thousands of women have come to me feeling frustrated and defeated after struggling to lose weight.

They don’t know why all their hard work isn’t paying off, and many of them blame themselves without taking time to figure out what’s really going on.

Are you also stuck in this weight-loss struggle? Today we’re going to get real and look at why, despite your very best efforts, you are still not reaching your weight-loss goals.

When it comes to losing weight, you’ve probably tried everything:

  • You’re always on the hunt for the latest weight-loss program, and you’ll try anything you find–no matter how crazy it sounds.
  • You work hard: Maybe you count calories, buy special foods and snacks, and follow the rules.
  • You’re eating smaller and smaller amounts of food.
  • You turn down invitations to parties, dinners, or other gatherings because you don’t trust yourself to stay on your eating plan.
  • And of course, every Monday morning you swear off the indulgent foods you may have eaten over the weekend, and you recommit to a strict new diet.

Today you will learn why you’ve been putting time and energy into the wrong thing. And, of course, how to switch gears.
