Brian is an award-winning entrepreneur, an investor and a professional businessman.
He believes he is fortunate to be working in great companies and with extremely talented individuals. His remit? To be the wind beneath their wings.
At the age of 26 he secured his first role as MD and has run companies at Board level for the last 39 years.
In 2016 he was awarded a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to entrepreneurship and in 2017 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration by Glasgow Caledonian University.
In 2019 he was recognised as one of 30 Mavericks in Scotland by Business Insider.
In their words: ‘Mavericks’ are business people who are disrupting the world. They are the ones who think differently, cut through the noise, regularly ruffle feathers, but manage to get things done'.
He is a cancer survivor and off the scale optimist.
