A wee solo one for you this week, where I take you through MY toolkit.
Full disclosure, I'm not there yet. It's a work in progress but I'm getting there and bit by bit dismantling the diet and toxic fitness culture conditioning and giving myself permission to take up space.
I wanted to keep this episode short and sweet and so here are my main takeaways:
You don't have to love your body now. But just for today try and show it some kindness.
Check in with yourself for 60 seconds each morning as you wake up.
How do you WANT to feel when you move?
What is your WHY for movement apart from aesthetics and weight loss/ maintenance?
Movement doesn't always have to be joyful in the moment. If you feel amazing after a particular workout, to me that is moving for joy and listening to your body.
If we all worked out the same and ate the same, we'd all look entirely different.
You cannot fail intuitive movement. We are in this for life, not just for a 30 day challenge.
