In this episode, Anita talks about the health benefits of Chanting.

Despite having been practised for thousands of years by almost every culture in the world, many consider chanting to have only spiritual advantages. It is possible that, regardless of the tradition or belief system involved in the chanting practice, chanting may have a physiological and psychological effect no matter what you are chanting.
Scientific studies have found that chanting can decrease stress, anxiety and depressive symptoms, as well as increase positive mood, feelings of relaxation and focused attention.
Chanting can be very simple, for beginners or if you are shy, as it can be practiced in private.
The beautiful thing about using vowel sounds is there is no language or words and it is accessible to all.
In this episode, you will learn how you can direct the vowel sounds to different energy centres in the body or work through the whole chakra system using vowel sounds. As you direct the tone to an energy centre in the body, it can bring balance and healing to that area.
