When we were children, many of us played and pretended to be someone that we are not: a cowboy, a princess, a superhero, etc. But even as adults, we are tempted to pretend to be someone that we are not. In such cases, who we really are is masked behind a public persona or online image that does not match reality. Such inconsistency can lead to difficulties in our lives and relationships, especially when it comes to our relationship with God and our churches. Join us as we discover the kind of authentic Christians and churches for which God longs and the consequences for us merely keeping up our spiritual appearances.
