Northeast Mississippi Community College President Dr. Ricky G. Ford sits down with Marketing and Public Relations Associate Alli Scott as she fills in for Liz Calvery to discuss all the activities that happen at the college during the summer months. While the majority of students are away for the summer, it does not mean that the college sits silently during May, June, July and August. Ford discusses what goes on during the summer from camps to summer school to orientation to the Gaye Roden Carr Aquatic Center opening, Northeast stays busy during the summer. To wrap up, Ford gives listeners the Northeast News and discusses athletics, academics, workforce, student activities, and human resources, along with many more important things happening at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
