Those are the four agreements from the book "The Four Agreements". Today, my good friend and your podcast psychotherapist, Shane Murphy, and I discuss each agreement in depth.
These agreements are integral to mental health. Mental health isn't talked about enough. How to improve your mental health is the purpose of this episode.
We get wrapped up in anxiety. When we don't follow the four agreements, anxiety grows within us and affects everything. We make assumptions because we are not thinking rationally. Anxieties lead to panic and fear. 90% of your anxiety comes from inaccurate assumptions.
We talk about how you can flip your emotions when you are about to take something personal.
And we delve into that buzzword of the last few years - being triggered.

Where does it come from?
We delve into this and how to take ownership of your thoughts and your life. I highly recommend this episode. Shane now has a radio show on Cry104 FM and started a program called Creative Pathways - a way for people to connect with creativity and psychotherapy.
