Last episode we discussed two different psychological trinities: Heart, Mind, Behavior & Love, Wisdom, Power. Like I said, there is so much to unpack so I wanted to do a follow-up episode. If you haven’t listened to the previous one (“Your Superpower”), it would be helpful.
· Last episode we discussed the importance of understanding Fear (-) and Love (+), especially as it relates to your power.
· So what is love? “The purest form of love is self-less” in an article. But it makes it seem like love is an action. Love is NOT an action.
· Action is the expression of what is in the heart. What do you desire most? You want to be loved…then what is in your heart is the FEAR THAT YOU ARE NOT LOVED! So then what drives your actions/behaviors? FEAR. That “nice” thing you do for someone is not an expression of love, it is manipulation. You desire to be loved. You fear that you are not and the action is the expression of the fear.
· True self-less love is loving without desiring anything in return because your heart is driven by love. It is not about the action. The action is the expression of the heart.
· Wisdom comes in to play when you know WHAT you are loving and HOW to love…
· What you love…do you love yourself, others, material things. Love is your desire for the object you desire…
· How to love is a skillset that not many people are equipped with.
· In the Love, Wisdom, and Power trinity: Power is having the wisdom to know what and how to express the love within.
· Stepping out of slavery or feeling like the victim of your life starts here.
